Release [Explorer's Application] Captain's Log

Hi, got a problem with the statistics tab, i only see them during a "session", if i start the program again, every counter is reset.
Though the planets are still there if i have a look at the system body tab, am i missing something here or is it a bug?

The database loads in 3 phases - 1) Text, 2) stars, 3) stats - 2 & 3 are background tasks.

Give it time and it'll build the stats again.

Although you have given me an idea... thanks!

Hi,

I appear to have a strange thing, possibly bug occurring.

I run CL in Lazy Mode, which I have ticked.

However, upon jumping to a new system OK and an X are displayed in the Planets area upon arrival: -

It doesn't seem to impact on CL, I've just started to ignore it now, but thought you should be aware.

Using the latest version of CL btw.

Hi o7

Known problem which will become irrelevant once I get rid of manual input for planets and stars, due to the new Journal file that FDEV are introducing for 2.2 :)

Regards

I heard it was in the loop some time ago :)

I haven't found one of these yet...

I'm an involuntary coin collector, having served overseas too much. I'll *find* one. :)

Another bribe?

How will this affect our existing entries, and will it include our own "First Discovered's"? :) :)

Bigger bribe if it does. :)

Ralph.

No need to bribe - it's going to happen anyway - but I can't guarantee it'll be ready in time for when 2.2 goes live - I'll try my best but it's just me and myself that programs this thing ;)

As far as exisiting DB's go, I'm going to have to design a completely new database schema, which will be incompatible with the old databases - but I should be able to import the old databases, or at least convert them to the new format - either within Captain's Log or it might be a separate utility I make for that - but it would make sense to do this within the main program.

As for your previous discoveries, well nothing is going to change for that, as Captain's Log (and EDDiscovery etc.) will be working with the new information they receive from the new journal file format FDEV are very kindly and awesomely generating.

Thanks, Oh Great One! :)

Frontier *does* have a list of your past First Discovered's. They just wont give it out. I've tried Support, negative.

Someday....
