I picked a HiTech System that has a station and two outpost, next to an agricultural system with rares.

Next thing I did was to expand the faction of the Agr into the HiTech. Then Civil War. Now the faction controls both systems and I can finally sell my data, to the faction I like, in a scientific outpost. All independent and in fact, needing more people to join me in this effort. So Mi casa es su casa if you are interested.

My base is in TZ Arietis: an high tech system with almost anything on sale. It's very close to Sol, and i seldom dock at daedalus to make measurements for my database. How much you like it, Sol is the standard measurement for distance and its coordinates on the grid is 0,0,0.

Where i sell data si entirely another matter. Usually i rush to TZ Arietis, switch to combat ship, and start to go sell data 5 mil at a time. 5mil of data are usually enough to become allied with a minor faction. OFC 1.3 will change many things regarding this.
