Failure Developments at it again

This update was a total failure. You broke almost everything. You broke outfitting (can't see the engineering on stored modules). You broke engineering. You broke mining. You tried to break instancing. You broke the codex. You broke VPNs. Fighters are still broken. Buying arx is broken. The arx prices were broken (not that I'm complaining on that one). You broke the wing UI.

And theres probably more you broke that we haven't discovered yet. Its mind boggling. How in the everloving did this get past QA. Do you even test things at all? Maybe you do and you just don't give a enough to fix it. Doesn't matter what the reason is though, you up. Big time.

And this isn't the first time. April was really bad too. Beyond saw the removal of multiple types of missions because you were so bad at balancing them. If it was a one time I could dismiss it as just a mistake or accident, but its almost every update now. This many total failures of an update is inexcusable and shameful.

Shame on you fdev.

There's always been issues with updates in my experience though this one in particular seems to have affected more than the usual.
No, not really.

Currently there only are a handful of threads claiming the update broke the entire game. Usually it's hundreds.

So far it seems to be the update with the least issues and bugs, which is just natural considering it didn't really add something...

Must have heard we were doing a reunion game and going ganking.

But for real. All jokes aside about FDevs lack of give a crap and direction.

This new update when it comes (the livestream "big announcement") I'll wager has new ships. Limited content to actually play (if any at all) and a slew of new cosmetic crap for people to buy.

On the other hand. Nice to see little has changed and they (still) can't push updates without completely breaking the game.

Have folk not learned anything?
After any major (or bigger minor) patch, things tend to be broken in game. Some because of the patch (and the bugs in it, both old and new), some because the servers are being hammered by thousands of downloads & concurrent players, player numbers being way above regular.
If the 'things are more than usual broken' state of game irks you bad, give it a week or two rest - in that time a couple of fixes will have been applied and highest user peak will have abated.
Oh, if you absolutely must play all the time, first few days have much less problems in solo in my experience. Rubberbanding & many other instancing related issues aren't present then.

This was neither major or bigger minor update it was using content that was already in game including arc's ( just fronier points renamed) all they done was move a few things...

This guy gets it.

Thanks to my slow connection by the time my download finishes the major issues have usually all been addressed. Its just another patch.

But you get a chance to ride around on your high horse, that's got to be a bonus.

Considering that the things that are broken did not appear to have any relationship to the new features, one really does have to wonder...How bad is their code that something can go this wrong...
Please ask for job in Frontier and show them how they should do it .. right :). This release of update was working for me really well during yesterday (big positive difference to practically all before released updates). Some bugs were expected to happen and store is not important atm ... they will repair it quickly, it's theirs best interest afterall :)
