"When the wind of change comes, some people build walls. Other people build windmills."
- I don't see the harm in joining the very same faction the goons are trying to expand. Politics has always been, and always will be an ebb and flow.
"Every disadvantage can be made into an advantage, all it takes is a change of heart."
- If you are aligned with the goons faction, you are letting them do your dirty work for you, whilst you reap the benefits. The goons can't hustle you in solo mode.
Politically, every power offers one or the other advantages and disadvantages. It's "a change", and every change can be exploited. It makes no real difference to me what change that is. In the end of the day, everything is transitory. One must just make sure one isn't part of the "transition casualties". Those are the real fools.
I actually like Aisling, because she doesn't affect anything on controlled systems. She's purely a deity. She reminds me a little of the Mother of Dragons, and I take well to being called one of her "Angels". I admit, I am smitten by Aisling.
But if someone were to topple Aisling, I wouldn't mind. I'd just join the next strongest faction, whilst keeping a Magazine with Aisling as the covergirl somewhere in my cockpit. Then after that faction get's toppled, I'll join the next highest faction.
I call it "surfing the wind the change."
If someone were to want to kill Aisling though, and leave me with nothing but the rest of the clowns on the roster to look at, that's when the hits the fan. That's when the angel wakes.
