FC : impossible to disembark

Is this a joke??? I too can't disembark on my own Fleet Carrier due to "restricted by port". what.. I am the owner and I'm being restricted by port personnel, who i employ...

LET ME DISEMBARK ON MY OWN FLEET CARRIER!!!!!

Do me a favor and open your carrier management and then carrier services and scroll through your installed services highlighting each one without changing anything. This seems to have fixed it for me but, then again, it may have been a coincidence.

That's all well and good but you have to wait 45 mins for each jump. So let me get this straight, once I change my Fleet Carrier Loadout (and all I did was resume some services), i have to jump to another system for the loadout to refresh so I can disembark,

I don't know why I keep coming to back to this game

Yep, tried putting the FC configuration to how it was, i restarted the game from desktop, i've left the FC, and returned in my ship and i still can't disembark. Waiting 45 mins to jump the FC is a joke

Odd that it affects some and not others (and apparently some of the time, and not other times).

I've had no problems with disembarking, either before or after I bought the services (I bought them from a terminal while on foot, if that makes any difference).

The only bug I've found so far was an inability to sell surplus tritium to make room (Yellow Adder transaction server errors). Selling in Horizons got around that one.

OK, it worked: had to jump out. Now I'm looking to jump back in to administration system to cycle though some crew. Looks like my old guys are gone, will this get fixed or should I get new crews?

Same bug here, tried relogging, going to supercruise and out, to no avail. Won't even be able to watch my first carrier jump from the inside because the game itself locks me out. If only I had disembarked before changing around all the services...

I found that going to another nearby FC, disembarking there, then getting back in my ship and returning to my own carrier fixed it for me. Not sure if that will work for everyone, but it's worth a shot.

I don't understand. I'm in orbit. Why can't I disembark, due to "high gravity"?

You can't disembark while ship is "outside" on the bad. Your ship has to be below deck (just go to outffiing to trigger it). You might have to also make sure that your carrier security settings (carrier management) allows people with "notoriety". Hope this helps...

Actually weirdly with this bug sometimes it's the other way around like it's detecting the dock states backwards. I had it once, but raised the ship back to the surface and then I could hit the disembark button, at which point it lowered the ship back down and let me get out on foot.

Hihi, the Disembark bug just hit my Epic account too.
I installed the Pioneer Supplies, then i faffed around (mostly idling for quite some time).

Then i got into ship and surprise - no more disembark.
Also - seems related - Livery is no longer accessible


The fix for me was to Quit to Desktop, both Disembark and Livery are accessible again after a full restart of the game.

Is it related to what mode you installed the services from? I was docked in my ship when I added them, maybe adding them while in the FC on foot causes issues?

In my case i added the services only on-foot (yesterday on 2 accounts and today on epic account when i only added the pioneer supplied - to get rid of that shut door)

Guess it's something random that happens when we add/modify services leading to losing the connection to some FDev server.

Well I STUPIDLY suspended the Pioneer Supplies on my Carrier, before loading up with Tritium..........guess what?.....CAN'T DISEMBARK.

Currently trying 1001 things to get around this issue:mad:

OK, just managed to disembark..........a complete shutdown & restart of my laptop (after shutting the game down) has now allowed me to leave :)

Today I encounterd this behaviour, too. Couldn't disembark while in the hangar but up on the landing pad it worked. Odd thing...
