FD please fix RES site (its almost an exploit)

M8 nothing's every gonna change m8. The only thing that will make devs even look at your post is if you post in the bugs section. The rest of the forums is for the plebs. Sometimes the lords come and say hi and tell us about their new stuff and answer some questions, but they never dirty their hands with actual public matters. They let the lesser lords(mods) merge the thread into some old wreched thread nobody cares about anymore. HF bounty hunting though... :)

Thank you very much.

I'm not sure what you think this proves? I have said all along 2-3 mil an hour is relatively easy to achieve. The discussion was around whether 10 M is common and easy-to-find. Perhaps you simply haven't understood this? I'm ore than happy to assume good faith, but as I say, condescending others is not a good way to start a conversation. Perhaps you should have entertained the possibility that you simply hadn't understood, rather than assumed everyone was making incredibly simple and obvious mistakes :)

I really doubt 10mil/hr is common, If i tapped out at 5mil w/o KWS prior to 1.3 the loss of anacondas in favour of vultures and +50% to bounty rewards might just equal out at 10mil/hr but I tried pretty much flat out to get 5mil.

Maybe if they give me my pre 1.1 python back

RES sites are tricky now, is not easy and this is how so-post to be. Yesterday, my spawn rate was equal to zero. There is no other ships except me. But today, i hav'ed good spawn rate. Few times i'm do reset. Nothing. Same story. And this post, thread like this freaks me up.

You don't know. My goal is to get Python and to keep Vulture. I don't like trading, but with trade profit is far good, profit with combat is not good.
Just leave RES alone.

Just for quote: FD please fix RES site (its almost an exploit)
For Real!? How to!?

Cheers.

Based on the rest of your post, it looks like, in fact, we're arguing the same point: RES are NOT an exploit. They do not need nerfing. If anything, they need to be made more predictable and more reliable, so that pilots who like a challenge can find one, and pilots who already have a Vulture stand a reasonable chance of earning enough to upgrade to a combat-ready Python. I'm in the same boat as you, for the record; I have a Vulture and a Python, and I'm using the Vulture to try to save up to combat-fit the Python - I have no gear for it so far. I have 35 M in the bank, and so I've heard, a combat loadout for a Python can be 150 M. At 3 M an hour, this is 50 hours in game. At my rate of play, that's about 3 months of constant RES grinding. Seems like a long time to me!

For that time of playing game i can lose:

1.My life
2. My job
and third very important thing in my life: My wife and kid.
4. My friend's and family.

So in time i can abandon game (uninstall) and play something for what i don't need years to get something, some equipment, ship, item and etc. The Truth is, i'm hooked for that goal's.

Go fight in a combat zone if you want the "bad guys" to be hostile all the time. They even have a reason to be hostile there. I don't understand the complaint. Why would a Pirate go to an RES and start blasting everyone when there's no reward if they have no cargo? This isn't Eve, you drop nothing if you die. Space Pirates want something to sell. They are Pirates, not terrorists. They are going to a known site that miners will likely have cargo of some worth, but of course they are going to make sure since they are subject to attracting the man, it needs to be worth it.

There is a loop of events in RES:
Miners - Pirates - Pirate's attack Miners, Security vessel's for watch miners and hunt wanted. So, pirates become Wanted, there is consequences for Pirates <--- And there is job for Bounty hunter's and Security vessel's.

That mechanic can't be broken or changed.

Conflict or Combat Zone:
It's hard to find and they are not in their lifetime forever.

From my experience: Pirates threat's, never ask pretty please. Drop cargo or die.

Of course they don't ask nicely, but they can check to see if it's even worth bothering with you. What's the purpose of trying to force a combat Vulture to drop cargo other than asking for a butt-kicking?

Yes, exactly! I'm reaching the point where I can't face it to be honest. The thought of spending all my gaming time for the next 3 months, doing nothing but blowing up ships in RES or CZ, bores me to tears. I think if I did do that, I may never play ED again. Instead, I'm going to have a bit of a break, maybe dip in every now and then for some combat fun, and wait to see what gets added to the game in the future. Right now, I don't feel there's anything I haven't already seen or done, apart from PP, which is ultimately just going to amount to the same gameplay I'm experiencing hunting pirates.

But if they don't blow people up who refuse them, the threat is sort of empty isn't it? Also, they could shoot out cargo hatches.

People arguing about whether RES need nerfing or boosting is just a symptom of a bigger issue: there isn't enough to do in ED, and there aren't enough fun and interesting ways to make credits. So, people just focus on the credits themselves.

Those npc pirates are too trusting or naive. If they come up to me and scan me for cargo and I also scan them they should expect an attack.
Also it is a bit weird that Sidewinder and Eagle npc pirates try to take on my heavy combat Python.
A little Sidey pirate hanging in front of my three deployed large beam lasers should know better than to demand my cargo.
One of my guns is almost as large as his entire ship. There is no chance whatsoever he could ever get cargo out of me.

I would like solo sidewinder and eagle pirates not even to try to pirate me and/or interdict me. It makes no sense.
If they are in a wing then it is more realistic, but solo... never.

Pirates go where the money can be found.
Rich Extraction site attracts Miners who fill there holds with the Best Minerals they can find.
Along come the Lazy old Pirate who wants to steal there load instead of working.

He is so lazy he doesn't even have a Cargo Scanner and demands i drop my Cargo when i don't even have any cargo rack in my Vulture.
So i shoot him in the face and collect my Bounty. I dont see anything wrong with this system ;)

Don't wait for better tomorrow.
Game have high demand's. For an example Python and Anaconda (with equipment's and insurance)
Hunting with Arissa's 20% more bounty claim give's us a hope. With difficulty'es, we can earn few million.
Besides, why we can't pay insurance on every month?
