FD please fix your bloody servers

I played more the last 2 days than i've been able to for months due to work, and I believe I had only two disconnections, plus one instance of my own router having a fit for some reason.

Pretty good really.
 
I can assure you that my network is running perfectly fine in any other aspect. And lots of guys have experienced connection issues in the last two days or so. I don't think that all of them are not able to set up or maintain a network properly.

And what about your ISP? Or Fdev's cloud provider? Or the network segments that neither you or FDev control? But, if you want to blame the least likely culprits, go right ahead, just be aware that all sorts of traffic records have been set in the last week or so..

I mean yeh, point taken but fdev have been pretty open about these known issues for a while now. Every ticket I've raised when I had serious connection issues and sent my logs in received the same reply (it's an issue with carriers). Funny thing is it wasn't always that though. So sending logs in did very little.

I'm thinking the odds on this being a known issue or some other user related issue are pretty heavily skewed. Particularly with the in system super cruise at least.

Whether it requires another thread is perhaps less skewed.

Doesn't Amazon host Frontier's web services for this game...

Perhaps we could ask folk to not shop online whilst we are playing?

Chances are it's got nothing to do with servers. Orange Sidewinder might be generic but I think we all know the op is probably attempting to enter SC in a carrier heavy system. I believe even having a fatband backbone connection on a lan with the amazon's CEO's pc probably wouldn't help correct this specific problem.

I reckon facts are important and maybe don't think the profile of this issue needs further raising but I also don't think focusing on whether the op has correctly diagnosed the issue is a pressing matter. It's possible they have an unrelated issue. It's more likely it's just one of several known issues.

If it's persistent (like 100%) then it's likely we need details to offer suggestions. Otherwise, I don't think it's important.

Let me see, I have no problem? Have you tried lowering mtu a little or pinging for best results?
sometimes firewalls can be the bottlenecks with incorrect settings and router.

Myself playing with static ip with port forwarding but in solo of course, In open or with other players I would recommend VPN.
