I have a black paint for mamba I haven't used yet because did you know, the black mamba is not named because it's a black snake. The inside of a mamba's mouth is black, the snake is kind of grey. So surely as long as the Commanda in the cockpit has a 'death from above' type cold steel heart, any ship can be a 'black' mamba? I'll get my coat.
This is great. I've not managed to get into the beta yet so had no idea the Mamba is back. That is what I meant by re-introduced. It was one of the original ships from '84, and like the Krait, as ship us long timers have been wanting to see back again.
Seeing this, I think we should have Elite '84 paint jobs: Pitch black with thick white edges retracing the original '84 low poly shapes of the ship.
