Feature Focus - Dinosaur Acquisition and Management

I have been using the strategy of making one creation lab with a small yard and transporting all releases manually to their respective paddocks/exhibits for years. "Remote Release" sounds like a great feature on top of the new Sythesis/Incubation system that will streamline my operations even further. I'm pretty stoked.

This sounds amazing! Particularly happy to hear about pack hunting, prey being able to escape, territory, and an improved genetics system!

Ummm one small request/suggestion, please no more dilos, proceratosaurs, etc, one-shotting hadrosaurs! In fact, I hope that there are some types of small carnivores that cannot prey on larger dinos at all!

Can't wait to see more.

This is really exciting. I wake up with anticipation everyday. Super excited to see new social behaviors: Resting, running, walking, socializing, hunting and fighting. I am really looking forward to seeing herds run in a uniform direction when alerted by members of the herd or neighboring herd.

I.E. JURASSIC PARK: When Dr. Grant, Timmy, and Lexi see the gallimimus herd running from Rexy in uniformity, changing direction like a flock of birds (High on the wish list)

THE LOST WORLD: Epic- Herd scene when Roland Tembo, Dr. Burke and the Ingen team are pursuing a mixed-species herd of Paras, Gallis, Pachys each running at their respective speed.

Jurassic Park III:

SCENE 1: EPIC Mixed- Species Herd when the plane first arrives and fly's over a scene filled with herds of Trikes, Stegos, Brachiosaurs while the Corys and Paras run weaving in and out of the landscape.
SCENE 2: When Dr. Grant, Billy, & the Kirbys stumble into a resting/ feeding hadrosaur herd (Paras & Corys) which get spooked and take off in a sprint while making trumpet/brass like calls. It's such a majestic scene seeing these large herbivores running in herd. It would be amazing to see that translated into the game. No game has done that yet and I feel we are close to seeing that (Fingers crossed).

The Frontier Team are brilliant and I'm sure they've thought of it, considered it and hopefully bring something like this into fruition. They did say these animations will be more "realistic and natural." I just know it's gonna be great.

Oh, how did I miss this info? Everything souns so great! Love all the improvements made to the sequel. I like these chunks of info over time. (y)

Helloooo everyone!

Something I am interested in knowing is the Synthesis and Incubation process. Will we be able to synthesis more than one type of dinosaurs or will it be the same dinosaur for the entire cluster?

The dinosaurs in a cluster will be the same ones, but that doesn't mean you can't make a new one after!

This territory system looks very interesting. I look forward to seeing these mechanics in practice.

I LOVE the territory system, I think every time I see it I tell Jens again that I love it :D

Would this pole with a camera be part of the ranger's outpost? o.o

Correct! good eye :)

Little by little you are convincing the most pessimistic in this sequel with the new developments. The territory system makes the animals roam the enclosure with a clear purpose and not to roam to roam. This is very important and gives the animal a lot of realism. I am also curious for the future to know how the different types of visitors will behave that now as I read in the Game Informer article, each type of visitor will be happy if they see a certain type of thing.

Imagining all this reading the feature focus excites me but seeing a gameplay ... OMG I need a gameplay to see all of this!

Hello dear tim , I have a question : are Rangers/medical unit/Acu teams can be eaten now ? Does it have ACU teams by foot to capturate dinosaurs and can they be killed or eaten when vehicle destruction

Sounds like it could be more interesting. Will the prey always be injured, or is there a chance they'll see it coming and flee? This could have large (extra) implications to their habitats... Tall grass or foliage become necessary for raptors in order to hunt. Truly their comfort level in their habitat should be directly linked to their survivability/ability to hunt successfully rather than just "this dinosaur lived in a forest".

Hey so since there's more to the management side of things, does that mean we'll also be seeing cleaners again? Because having them losing their minds during a twister flailing their arms would be funny to have again. But at least have them smarten up and duck for cover this time around?

Please no more cleaners.

Your Rangers take care of a lot of the day to day management of the park, and routinely check on your dinosaurs.

I’m litterraly asking for this question for 3 days now haha just want to know if medical unit /ACUnit/ rangers can be eaten or killed
I mean, if they weren't it would be a step backward. After all, it's not Jurassic Park if there isn't a massive disaster.
