COMPLETED CG Fight for the Marlinists with the Duduseklis Empire League

Does that mean that on thise systems have a lot of passenger missions aviable or do i need to wait for that CG?

BTW. I have seen some Youtube videos mention "remember to buy lifesupport for your passenger cabins". Does that mean that i should not have bigger passenger cabins than my lifesupport is rated?
Generally galnet articles where you can see something in game start with Pilots Federation ALERT - and this one doesn't, so it's probably just fluff. Generally.

The systems are in "lockdown", which means no missions at all.

All in all it was probably a good thing we lost the cg.

It is somewhat interesting who DEL's patron is. Patreus may be trying to engineer a way to take the throne from the emperor. Either he gets more support from putting down the NMLA quickly, or he gets more powers/resources to fight the NMLA in an imperial civil war. (possibly painting Arissa as too weak to lead the emperor.) Leaving the club (see premonition) in total control of the empire and the imperial navy. At least this way things move much more slowly toward civil war, and the NMLA is not totaly wiped out. Arissa needs to wise up Patreus's split loyalties.

The fed and imp story lines may parts of the same effort of the Club to take direct power of both the empire and federation via military leadership (both fleet admirals in this case) shenanigans.

Lockdowns are faction based. A system being in lockdown means the controlling faction is in lock down. If stations are owned by other factions not in lockdown they can have missions. (Just like in Ackwada a few weeks ago. DEL did not control one of the outposts so missions were still available there. )

Why do you think the Empire blocking the system prevents the NMLA from being totally wiped out?

Anyway, from latest Galnet news, millions of Marlinist Imperial Citizens are leaving the Empire, which was precisely what the CG was about. Maybe it didn't change anything.

Galnet:

Marlinist Refugees Flee to the Federation
20 OCT 3306
The Empire has formally demanded that the Federation extradites all Marlinist political refugees that have fled into their space.

Hundreds of thousands of believers in the republican ideology evacuated their homes following anti-terrorism lockdowns. The Imperial blockade in Ackwada prevented ten megaships from escaping, but others carrying huge numbers of Marlinists have appeared in the Federal systems Charunder, Ennead, HIP 36081, LTT 1935, LTT 3607 and Thetis. Many smaller vessels are also thought to have spread far and wide.

Imperial Ambassador Imogen Luciana sent the formal request:

“The Federation is harbouring potential criminals who are connected to the NMLA terrorists. We insist that they are detained and returned to us to face justice.”

Federal Ambassador Jordan Rochester, who was once engaged to Princess Aisling Duval, provided an official response:

“There is no extradition treaty for unconvicted citizens, and these people have claimed political asylum. I have requested that Congress grant them sanctuary within the Federation, and that we offer protection to all Marlinists seeking to escape discrimination by the Empire.”

Although there is no indication that Marlinist emigrants have set course for Alliance space, Prime Minister Edmund Mahon confirmed that they will be welcomed. Some independent systems are also offering assistance, while others have warned that any influx of refugees will be resisted.

Looking in Charunder at the Local News:

Galnet mentions 6 systems ... anyone for a 6 Tier CG next week :D

... and the 2 mentioned places the Marlinists fled from appear to be in Lockdown. Open revolt in the Empire!

I feel so vindicated by our efforts in the CG. We lost the battle but won the war 👍

Denton must be tearing his hair out by now. I imagine that Arissa isn't too happy with him 😁

Yeah - I feel I wasted my time. Patty can stick it if he needs any more help after that omnishambles.

If these systems are in a standard BGS Lockdown state, can that not be lifted by handing in bounties? Get the pew-pew ships out for some bounty-hunting, and if any of the locked-down factions own a system with a Compromised Nav Beacon, you're golden....

EDIT: As a loyal Imperial, I probably shouldn't even be suggesting this. And what's that battering at the airlock...

It depends if they placed them in Lockdown by just setting the security slider to minimum as a one-off, or if they're refreshing it each day.

Nahuatl, Beatis and Chana have recovered to Civil Unrest, so it's probably just been a one-off placement for the others too.

But Marlinists are those seeking democracy, which is antithetical to Imperial ideology.

Also I just read the latest bulletin
https://www.elitedangerous.com/#!/news/galnet/article/marlinist-refugees-flee-federation
And let me tell you, "The Adventure Continues!"

Also I'd wager that the Imperial suppression would've been FAR MORE ABSOLUTE if the Community Goal ratings weren't so, for lack of better wording, "competitive". I mean both sides hit no less than Tier 2. If Marlinists had Tier 0, I can then understand them being narratively purged from not just space, but erased outright from history!
