DW2's organisers wanted a station at Beagle Point, but Frontier said no then, and they had one built at Sagittarius A* instead.PS: we need a station at the other side of SagA*! The galaxy is so vast... we explorer should demand a station at 4 corners at least.
Unfortunately, due to me making an idiotic mistake, I tried that out today. You do respawn at the station you last docked at, not the one closest to you. (I was around 13k ly out, closest station would have been 4-5k away, I respawned back in the bubble.) Perhaps the latter happens if you have some fines or bounties somewhere? As far as I know will you NOT respawn at the station you last docked BUT at the station closest to you. Albeit, I have never tried that since you will lose all the exploration data.
The rules on this are a little unclear, i believe this to be the case within the bubble. However, outside the bubble, you will return to the station you last visited.I can attest to this being the case as recently as last week in the colonia area at least. As far as I know will you NOT respawn at the station you last docked BUT at the station closest to you. Albeit, I have never tried that since you will lose all the exploration data.
Well I tried it. I respawned at the last station I docked at. Lost my exploration data and nothing else except my rebuy cost. I was concerned about losing my total distance traveled, I did not. Thanks for the opinions expressed here. You lose all your exploration data, and you are spawned in station where you last docked. Same as in losing ship within the bubble.
I am flying an Asp with 63ly, reaching Ishums Reach costs me 1x basic and 1x premium fsd boost, so 4 in total to come back as well.
Well, I've since moved back to the bubble to build up the credits for the Carrier drop (don't know how much they will be, so will make as much as I can). But if you are looking for Wolf-Rayets, then head to Phaa Free, I left quite a bunch unvisited in that sector. Go to the Gal Map, punch in the search "Phaa Free AA-A H" hit the goto arrow, and bookmark each system it goes to, you can see in the gal map if its a Wolf Rayet. Now, I have named a bunch of them, but there were well over 150 Phaa Free AA-A H systems that I didn't go to, many are Wolf Rayets and quite of few with double Wolf Rayets or triple. And since there are numerous Neutrons in the area, I was usually only a couple of jumps away from each consecutive system. Phaa Free is between Sag A and Colonia, bout 7k lys from Sag A, and about 6k lys from Colonia. Basically around 27k Lys from Shinrarta. Hope that helps....I went to Sgr A* and decided from there to go to Beagle Point. Of course, if I'm going to BP, I might as well hit Oevasy SG-Y d0, right? That's when I learned about Jumponium.... and that I didn't have any mats for synthesis. LOL
So, I headed for Colonia and am working on engineering my DBX for the Perseus Reach Expedition. We'll hit Oevasy SG-Y d0 as part of that. I'm fuel ratting for that expedition.
Man, I looked for WRs all over the place when I was near Sgr A* and XA and couldn't find a single one!!! #SuperJealous
