Finally!

I use my Corvette for mining ... Best mining ship in the game :D

BTW, I'm not kidding!
i disagree, the corvette is not the most effecient mining ship. the conda is, because of the massive amount of active limpits it can have.
if limpetcontrollers would scale properly, then yes, the corvette takes the cake. but thats not the case.

Nice, I rolled my A7 PP well above a stock A8 and it saved a lot of weight, I'm a little light on shields though (7D G5 Thermal) and a bunch of resident augmented shield boosters, 7A shield cell bank draws a lot of power but it does restore the shields from 1 bar in one hit. Seems about on Par with the A6's on my Trade Cutter. I wouldn't take it to CZ yet but I think it be fine at Rez sites.

Everything else on mine bar non essentials is A rated. I went with Wide angle sensors as for load out 3 overcharged beams (Large/2 Med) 2 Huge MC's (long range) and 2 missile racks.

I took most of the bits off my Conda to be fair, I think the DD's boost it to about 330-350 I will need to check! The Military Armour wasn't cheap mind...

.....and here I am, still spending 90% of my time in Ol' Snake Eyes (my Cobra MkIII).

To be honest, I'll probably spend weeks modifying and tuning this Corvette.

Then go back to my Python, Thunder Force III.

I always do.

Although, my Anaconda's (Pancake IV and Event Horizon) have proven most useful recently, packing a huge punch, good and excellent range, insanely versatile, and they look good.
They're basically a big Pythons. Lol

I dragged her to the Farseer

*facepalm*

An Anaconda has all the same module sizes (PP, thrusters, FSD, distributer, and a huge hard point). You don't need to actually take your corvette to an engineer. If you can't afford an Anaconda, at least don't fly the vette out to Palin. Strip down a Beluga and fly it out there, as it has the same size thursters.

Edit to add: and as a note for anyone grinding toward a corvette but not quite there yet, you can use this trick to get started working on your modules before you even buy the vette. I'm still working toward a Cutter, but I bought an 8A prismatic shield some time ago, before leaving Aisling. Engineered it in a T9 which can't even manage to power it on.

But that jump range... Lol
Jeeeeeeez...

Best QoL change I made to my 'vette was to bung a 6A fuel scoop on it.

Jumping, itself, isn't a big pain but jumping when it takes a while to refuel and/or you've got to worry about overheating is a PITA and a 6A fuel scoop solves both those problems.

Might seem like a small thing but it completely removed my reluctance to travel with the 'vette. [up]

I like my Conda for mining too but I only ever use 4 collectors for a nice relaxing mining lifestyle, I prefer the Corvette as a mining fortress, when those pesky pirates come sniffing around I just let my turrets have some fun, I keep mining ;)

One THE greatest shoot-me-ups of all time.

My mining conda runs 11 active limpets and 1 prospector. The waiting time to collect is allmost zero :D

If you can't afford to weaponise it, you can't afford the rebuy. Park it and make more money, before the inevitable salty post!

Z...

That's pretty good. Are you running a lighter weight build (including light weight mods), with less or no hull reinforcements?

Definitely running standard bulkheads. IIRC I have a couple of MRP/ HRPs in there. 2 Class 4 MCs, rest are Pulses. All efficient mods no lightweight. A rated on everything crucial, D rated Sensors and life support. My 21.37 is without cargo of course.

Yeah I'm all A rated with D class sensors and life support and I just scrape 18ly.

Looks like you got an epic grade 5 roll, RNGesus blessed you that day aha
