armor over jumprange
ive got more ships like that, multiple FASs with all less than 15ly jumprange.
fully armed Fed ships aint ment for travel.
tbh, i would like some militairy FSD with a fixed jumprange of 20ly..
I can fully armour my Corvette out and it still hits 17ly range....
At least come next year each roll will be better than the last!
Although that's an update I wish would happen sooner but...it's coming.
it also has A rated g5 longrange sensors.
Oh, weaponising wasn't the problem.
It was powering the weapons.
I knew I had a 7A modded power plant in storage, but I didn't want to wait 30~ minutes to have it delivered to my Corvette, then fly off and do all my bits.
So I just flew the gimp mobile myself.
I wasn't worried. I still had plenty for a couple of rebuys, and I was in solo, and no NPC had a reason to attack me.
Still had good enough shields to low/high wake anyway.
Besides, if I blew up, and failed to cover the rebuy, I'd probably laugh, and share my failure with the forums in some sort of hilarious manner.

I was hooked on Thunder Force IV for ages. I never actually played III.
(My Python is named Thunder Force III because i'm on my third one. Lol)
Silpheed was awesome too, on the Mega CD.
I don't actually have a ship named Silpheed... Yet. Lol
I'm waiting for FD to release a ship that looks similar to the ship from Silpheed....

The Corvette is an alright ship. Yes, the jump range, once fully engineered almost rivals a stock sidewinder, but hey, you're now one step closer to winning the game, right?

Not after I did it for the Clipper.
Then hated it, with a passion.
Then forgot I hated it, and brought it again.
And promptly remembered why I hated it.

I kinda wish the game was more dynamic. I'd love to end up hostile to the entire empire.
