I expect FC kits to have the correct hitbox, otherwise I will not be buying one (given they're ~3 times more expensive it's a reasonable assumption they work properly I would think).

I tried to ask this yesterday in one of the FC seller systems (given there already were dozens parked I figured at least one may have bought a kit already), but just after I sent the message I got ganked, and after submitting kicked out of the game:D Served whoever pulled me there right.

I can confirm that the hit box for at least the Nautilus load out is correct.

Also, you can customize the ship's ID nameplate using any of the already existing nameplates. In addition to this being shown on the outside of the ship, the same nameplate is used to show the carrier's name on the bulkhead in front of you, in the hangar. The ID is the only thing you can change - no other emblems or ship id.

Spare any screenshots by any chance? :)

I don't dare to even try log back into the game until much later, if at all today.

I am having trouble with my name plate on the carrier. I am using Classic 1 White and all I see it this black bar:

I noticed a similar issue when I first bought my FC (though it was a yellow rectangle instead of text). It disappeared once I'd jumped it, though, and I haven't seen it again since.

If I ever heard that approaching a Carrier, I'd probably turn around, Boost like hell and HiWake :D

And that's exactly why I bought that voice, I think it's terrific. And especially fitting for my previosly established canon that there's no living soul on that FC but my commander and his little 'toys' he keeps for company on those dark, dark nights out in the black.

But now I've got to find a new name for my carrier, "Graf Zeppelin" doesn't seem to fit anymore when Hannah is hailing you during approach...

Needs pieces that alter the profile. No one wants to arrive at the party wearing the same dress....cat fight. And quadruple the pieces in ship kits for the same reasons!

I went for paint and pad color. Layouts... not really a fan, and I expect they will add more in the future, so I'll wait to see, they're a bit pricey for my tastes, and I'd hate to spend that many ARX just to have something purdier added to the store in the future... requiring another 12k ARX.

I had a yellow box (transparent tho) when using the plain white 'ID'. Nothing I did made it go away however, until I changed my ID to a graphic type, and the yellow box is gone. It's something to do with the plain ID letterings I suspect

Guessing FD calculated with the income of this customisations and that people want them, is this update then considered as free or paid? Sure, technically its free for me, but from the perspective of FD the update gives content to generate money.
Perhaps it could be considered as optional paid update...🤔
