Fleet Carriers - Patch 3 - Known Issues

I personally have only one big problem with the latest patch. The market system is completely.
I mean, look at this :

The market died instantly, then recovered some minutes later, then died again. Is that any kind of a realistic market?

Limited Purchasing on Fleet Carriers
Fleet Carrier purchase orders are now limited to a maximum order of 2bn Credits. This was omitted from the patch notes and we apologise for any confusion this has caused.
That sounds incredibly arbitrary to me. Why would you stop carrier owners who have the money, to actually use that money to buy things on their carriers? This is just ridiculous without a good reason.

32-bit signed integer overflow? :D seems like that. Maybe field in DB is 32 signed int.

Maybe they heard from another player that Fleet Carriers are selling credits for real money? :eek:

Thanks for your feedback on the latest patch! We understand that some of the changes had unexpected effects and want to address them:


Overlapping Hotspots Commodity Distribution
With Patch 3 we implemented a change that was primarily intended to bring down the effects of multiple overlapping hotspots, especially on rarer commodities (such as Low Temperature Diamonds). We're currently looking at data from the live game to determine the actual impact that it is having and will review this based on our projections. If the data does not meet our expectations we will be making changes accordingly.


Tritium
One of the most noted points of feedback we've seen so far is that the rarity of Tritium has been negatively impacted. We'd like to make it clear that any negative impact on locating and mining Tritium is unintentional and the intention is for Tritium to remain as accessible as it was prior to Patch 3.

Console Players
A small update will take place tomorrow around midday for Xbox and Playstation users. This update won't contain any noticeable changes, but lays the groundwork for future bug fixes.

So can i find tritium now? i'm 30,000ly far away and no tritium here.
You cant find tritium in Colonia.

Why is special attention paid only to issues related to the latest updates? What to do with the problems that have been dragging on for several years? Or is it no longer a problem?;)
They seem to be following the traditional approach of many other developers which is: "If we don't talk about it, and never mention or acknowledge any of those problems, eventually they will fade and disappear from people's minds."

What about broken megaship looting / scenarios? Are you going to fix these issues (present since FC release) as well?

However I note that you give no indication either if, or when you are going to address the issue around Tritium and only acknowledge that what has happened isn't what you intended. Given the number of fleet carriers that are dead in the water, and the number of Cmdrs currently on them, could you confirm that you are actually taking action, and ideally, when and how you are going to do this. o7

What number? 100 carriers? Over 9000?

yeah people, please vote this issue. It's been broken long enough
 
Arf mentioned about 4 hours ago the "team" were putting together a post - and that's the best they can come up with in 4 hours?

Nothing about the broken abrasion blaster? Nothing about the effed up supply/demand situation at stations? Nothing about when we can expect to see a patch? Nothing about the countless other broken things in the game?

They are allegedly "watching and listening" to our feedback........right.
