Unless the idea of "explorer" for them is just making some circles around bubble and claiming "yay i use my FC to explorer, i'm so proud!".

For explorers, grinding the same old bodies again and again is a perfectly viable way to make credits.

Uh, I should phrase that better...

Laser mining is still a thing.
Painite is the new laser mining meta.

200-250 mil / hour - surely not like it was with LTD, but no other activity in ED is even near this number when we compare hourly credits earnings.

Unfortunately, no mention of what bugs FC operators probably the most. The fact that a singular FC in a system (typical in the black) always parks on the dark side of a locked planet. So, you have discovered this beautiful ELW and you park your FC there only to find you are on the dark side...

Not sure if this has been mentioned but I'm sure I read somewhere that if you bookmarked your carrier, then moved the carrier, the bookmark didn't work anymore. Well it does now,. You need only bookmark the carrier once.

Sorry if you already knew this or it wasn't even a thing. Been on the 'bus find' medicine again.

Pff... full setup. Had a rock of painite:
1. laser
2. ssd.
3. deep core
3 mins later when I was done with that rock I got 85t from single rock.
I prefer to pulse and fly mostly to "yellow" rocks. If NOT lucky then laser gives same 120t/hr on my ship (not enough of limpets to be optimal for laser). If lucky - then ssd/core of painite boost high. Also "yellows" look exact proper, not such a broken crap as for icy.

Unfortunately their fleet carrier "fixes" still park initial FC's on the dark side of "locked" planets. So if you have a beautiful ELW that is a tidally locked planet your FC can remain there forever but, it will always be in the dark. What a customer dissatisfier if you ask me.
