I didn't say that C and A were friends.

Just remind me when some CMDRs demonstrated how OP healing beams were and how much they broke the game and PvP fights, and they did it by showing that a station cannot kill CMDRs who heal each other, the response of Frontier was to buff station fire instead of nerfing the broken weapon...I don't know what's say really, so disappointing.

Don't disagree with that at all. Healing Beams in their implementation are not a good idea in my opinion. Using them should at least deplete your own shields

If people are using Solo and PG for Powerplay, why use Open and then block as well?

In reality if you are in Open and Powerplay you should not be able to block other pledges, and if you are winged with a pledge you should not be able to block either (i.e. exploit the block).

Precisely! 2 DAMN modes! Let's also add this function to CQC? It will also be possible to block the enemy who flies in the wrong direction or rudely writes to the chat or the color of the ship did not like? Everyone who wants to play without people was given a solo, everyone who wants to play COOP was given a PG. Why was a part of the game taken away from those who wanted to play openly? The worst thing is that it's already done and in this dev patch it won't undo it((((

You obviously do not play Powerplay, most power do not accept Powerplay to be played in solo, it is also an unethical thing to do and totally unsportsmanlike, those who do powerplay in solo (while engaging in powerplay and not just doing it to get the modules) are also breaking and screwing the games for thousands of CMDRs.

I'm not arguing with you about how Powerplay should be played. I'm just saying that since you have modes and people can use them, ability to block people without friending them isn't an issue at all.

Ironically, this change is actually to help prevent players accidentally spending money through the in-game store on a livery they can't use. Since there's 6 pages of replies, I'll presume someone else has already pointed out you can't possibly own either of these ships if you don't own Horizons.

It just means if you do play in Open in Powerplay, you can fly into a rivals space and block all rival pledges, making Open in this case a DIY PG mode, rather than being truly random in a feature that is about direct opposition. FD need to think about the consequences of changes for the whole game.

@rootsrat This is yet another change dropped without asking people for an opinion that negatively affects part of the game, so I'd argue it is about the update.

First of all I'm pretty sure this "you need to be friends to block someone" was a bug, because it shouldn't work like that. I'm sure we were able to block people we were not friends with before.
Secondly: You can do Powerplay in any mode, so what's the difference if someone will make himself a PG of sorts by blocking some people in Open, instead of selecting Solo (which is open with everyone blocked) or a PG that he will invite people to?

The game just loaded me in the wrong place, and with only 4bn credits. That’s the beta save. Please say you haven’t deleted my actual save????
