Flume and water ride suggestions

My wishlist suggestions for planco2 flumes:

*Flume run out for bowls on water slides
(I only saw the one that goes directly into the pool but I've only ever seen the kind that goes into a flume run out or into a small pool you get out of)

*Small pools dedicated exclusively for slides (Pools that can't be swam in and only be used for exiting the pool after getting off slide(s))

*Surfing carnival rides

*More lengths for flumes (there was no way to adjust length of pieces, only 4m option available)

*Tube lifts for family raft slides and guests carry tubes around

Let me know what you think and if you would add anything!

Run outs have been seen at Gamescom!

Hmmm, they don't look terribly brilliant. Honestly think they are not needed and a better way to do it is to have the ability for no-entry into pools. Allowing people to only climb out. Make that pool very small and rectangular and you have a splash pool which fits in with the rest of the pool design, appearance and style.

Please read the entire thing before posting. Its flume run outs for bowl flume track piece, the bowls that makes you go into a circle before dropping you into a pool. It's better that they have a flume run out at the end of those or allow you to continue building at the end of them. If you were swimming underneath them, your heads going to get crushed by someone getting off the flume.

I'm sorry, it didn't make sense to me when reading as that was what you meant. Please let's be more friendly and understanding, it is new news that there are run offs given they haven't been showcased yet.

These bowls that drop into the pool do exist so it's valid to have them though not a fan of them myself. I have seen them with dedicated pools. I've not seen a bowl that goes straight into a run off before, only continuing as a slide before the run off. Hence me thinking you mean slides with run offs.

Sorry, I was under the impression you were upset at me because I was beating a dead horse with how it was interpreted since everyones been talking about runouts. Anyways, I Agree, continuing the slide after a bowl and having dedicated pools for them to splash into would be a good change for them. The kind im familiar with are well-known in the wisconsin dells area and none of the bowl slides splash into the pool like they did in the recent 15 minute video frontier made about making flumes.

One thing that really stuck out in all of the game footage shown so far is the animation of the raft on the venus flytrap slide. It's a bit shady on the first transition after the raft comes out of the tube. Really hope it's because the demo is an early build.

Agreed, it looked very choppy, like, there was no physics to it. It was just pre-rendered animation.

The demo is actually a really early build from what Rudi heard,so good chances a lot of the graphic glitches and bugs will be fixed.

Yeah we really can't look too much into the demo at this point, it's far further down the line than what is presented there.

As much as I'd like everything to be 100% realistic to real life parks, I'd rather they just get the basics right and make it enjoyable to play rather than focus on loads of little details that only enthusiasts would pick up on.

Power supply management, keeping staff happy, water supply management, stock management etc....all boring to me as well.

Keeping the customers happy should be the main focus of the management side of things like it used to be in rct.

I also liked the vip scenarios in rct3, they could do the same but have youtubers Instead. Every good review boosts visitor numbers, bad ones put people off.

There's so many things they could do to make it more challenging other than installing power lines and water pipes, which is just annoying busy work rather than a challenge.

But, I digress. I'm sure if there are issues with the flumes or things that can be improved upon, they will be based on feedback.

Now that we have PC2, I always thought that it was super weird that the Raft Water Slide has a bowl with the run off end special piece, but the Single/Double Tube Water Slides do not have a bowl run off special piece which would be realistic considering you don't want to fall into a pool with your friend potentially both getting an injury or worse.

I would also love to see this type of Rafts/Tubes ingame too!
