Forum downgraded?

A fake world with pretentious, self-important people that have lost their minds, values, and priorities, because they don't know which way is up. Why would I care what they think of me or what I think? I can only hope that I never need to rely on any of it and am able to have my own peace and happiness for my family. At least most of us know video games aren't real, well, they're really video games, but you know what I mean.

Heh, i just read the Polygon article on the matter.
The motivation for shutting down the forums was really flimsy

I just hope FDev doesnt go that path
I dont have any presence on social media - no twitter, no fb, no Instagram.
So while FDev canceling the console port left me rather unfazed, canceling the forums would really make me question FDev and my desire to support a company that's severing the ties with the community by dropping their forums.

Anyway, Bioware didnt cancel the forums for SW-TOR, so i'd say FDev will not cancel the forums for their (still) evolving space mmo.

I wouldn't recommend doing so. I think you'd lose more what cannot be recouped.Who knows, maybe in a couple years, forums will be out of fashion. But not yet.
