Hi Commanders,

Not sure if you are interested, but found one guy not ashamed to claim his 5th column activity towards one of the Federal Powers...
...and he even has the honesty to claim not having the balls to do it in open for "safety" and because it is "too important to leave to chance in open"...

Feel free to contact him and explain how lame and destructive (driving so many players out of PowerPlay) his actions are...or to report my post if you feel it does not have its place on this forum.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not it just for the credits. There are important things to be done that require secrecy and relative safety. Some things are too important to leave to chance in open.

Well, Archon had experienced some heavy 5th column activity for 6 cycles in a row.
This was really painful for all of us and I really would have liked to know any bits of information pointing to who our 5th columnists were, what were their intentions and to get in touch with them to explain how their actions drove most of us out of PowerPlay, which is a shame.

As I wrote, if people believe my post should not be on this forum, feel free to report it. I actually don't even want to participate (I will not answer further) but believe some other may want to know that bit of info.

I just wanted to share what we could never get from our side.

5c is to be expected, because it happens IRL. However, several 5c actions in this game are wayyyy out of balance, and are potentially game breaking because of this.

I have seen/heard of several people quitting due to this lack of balance, and lack of efficient means to counter the 5c. Its really sad. The saddest part though, is that the 5c'rs have to resort to 5c because they cant figure out how to hurt us otherwise.

In a weird way, I take the Federations 5c as a sort of compliment, and I think those of you from Archon should as well. I mean, lets be real, the biggest Power IG (ALD) went after one of the smallest (Kumo), and Kumo basically kicked their butts. All the Imps can do is 5c because they dont know how to play the game, or they want to find the easiest way.

From reading what you post geoffrey.hdt i can only say that AntiFed is a much bigger man than you are. You act like a brat who is angry that someone is playing a game his own way and not yours.
If you don't like how he plays than go play something else. Elite Dangerous is designe to allow players to play in Open and Solo, till this won't be change by the Frontier developers you have no right to comment his play style he haves.

If Frontier allows such play style than don't spill your anger and frustration on other players but on Frontier and their crappy designe on entire main feature of the game.

The OP seems to be complaining more about them doing it in Solo, but there are more I am sure cmdrs who are not undermining and playing in Solo as well.

Mmmh...didn't I mention that I don't even want to participate in this thread and just wanted to post that bit of information since I'm pretty sure some people at Winters want to know / understand more regarding their 5C situation?
But since you are addressing your comment to me directly, here is my short answer:

You don't know me and are actually very wrong about what I really think about 5C. Sure, any playstyle is "working as intended" and acceptable as per FDev, I know. Some players go griefers and have fun at killing noobs or weak ships, some players go 5C in solo.
Yet, a game without risk/challenge, where you face no opposition and never lose, is not my thing. On top of that, if the outcome is to simply waste the effort of the community (and there are a lot of very good guys among the victims of 5C), I believe there is no honor in doing that...it is nothing else than being an anonymous backstabber.

Oh by the way, i'm not even angry, no worry, I deal with it.
I won't comment this any further.
