Franchise server issues since update

Will post my problem here too as there are only franchise players in this thread;

I got a new problem today in Franchise mode. I have bought a bunch of the new animals but haven't put any of them in zoo's yet, as I was focusing on getting the zoo's ready.
But today I was ready to put the new animals in the zoo. The problem is though, that I can't! :( Every time I try to put any of them in a zoo I get an Internal error message and get the "you are offline" for a few minutes. This problem ONLY occurs when trying to place one of the new animals from the latest pack. When i move another animal from trading post to a habitat it works just fine, but all of the new ones seem to bug the game out.

Have anyone else experienced this in Franchise?

Edit: I did a verification of the game files and that did not help
This started to happen to me just a few hours ago. Had no problem most time of the day and suddenly animals disappear, can't be moved, kick me off the server when I try to place them from Trade Center. I am not sure if there is one single sad soul sitting at the office trying to fix and making it worse or if the issue is just something, that makes itself worse until the server makes some sort of reset. I almost never have issues in the early morning and always have issues around 8 hours later. Its strange.

Having played franchise for 4 years now, the pattern seem to be that when more people play, the servers turns to crap. So weekday evenings and weekends are basically horrid, while late night/early mornings are smoother as there are fewer people playing. At least it seems like that. Also, it seems like the franchise server becomes more and more unstable for every update they release :(

Same problem here. It starts since the update with the connecting error. Now I cant sell animals on the trading post and cant add animals from the storage to habitats. I hope there is solution soon, because my species count in my zoo increased to already 75.. :( ^^

espacially the new ones, never seen a wisent or swan :( ... please fix this soon Planet Zoo- Team. I think its more important then the bug with the souvenier shop since here is no walkaround

Yeah, I've never had problems with disconnect/internal errors until the past few days. Now I can't play franchise at all (like many others) no matter what time of day I play. I don't know if it's due to the new updates or if there's suddenly more players or what.

The marketplace don't seem to work at all in franchise right now. I haven't seen any of the new animals today, there is not even any of them from Frontier! So the market seem to have crashed completely. So can't buy any animals, can't put any animals from trading post to habitats... sigh, and probably no fix until next year :( :(

I've had the same server crashing issue. I've heard reports of save files being corrupted, I've also had the issue of not being able to place some Hermann's Tortoises in their exhibit box in Career mode. I've never seen PZ at a more bleak state, considering over the course of the last 3 ish weeks, the entire community team is gone.

I'm also having this issue, driving me mad. I'm already on ethernet, tried renaming my zoo, checked files for integrity, re-downloaded a fresh install.

And now it sounds like everyone is leaving because of it. Which is insane for a game that cost so much with all the downloads.

It’s Christmas Eve. The next working day in the UK is Wednesday. I get that people are frustrated but right now people just need to be patient.

This just makes it extra frustrating. I am free from work for christmas and wanted to play planet zoo, but since I only play franchise and that is completly broken atm and will probably not be fixed until the absolute earliest on wednesday, that means no play at all for me these days, which sucks!

Agreed, and like I said, even the new career scenario has a bug with exhibit animals.

I feel you, as it is pretty much the same here.
When it is back and running, I'll probably have way less time to once again really sink in and forget the time while fiddling around ingame, which would have been no problem as it is holidays.
Just to get this straight, I grant anybody at Frontier their probably well deserved Christmas vacation, but this mess started at the beginning of this week, meaning "half" of the game is not working properly, respectively not working at all at this moment. It is simpy beyond my comprehension having worked in QA in software development for almost two decades that no one at Frontier is at least trying to fix this. From my experience there always had to be at least an emercency team availible taking care in case of major bugs like this.

It is simply beyond my comprehension that a) you assume that no one has been trying to fix this over the past days and b) that you don’t seem to get that this is literally the only holiday in the UK where almost everything apart from retail, hospitality and emergency services shuts down for more than a day.

I seriously think everyone needs to grow up a bit, be decent and empathetic and just accept that nothing is going to happen on this over the next few days - and that’s completely fine.

Yes, they tried. It seemingly worked for half a day and then went from bad to even worse.
What you seemingly did not get, that I spoke of my experience in QA of software development. Not all devs and testers were allowed to leave the office unattended over the holidays, especially not when a major bug in the online system occured right before holidays and obviously needed monitoring whether it reoccurs or not.
But anyway...merry Xmas.

Absolutely agree. It's Christmas. I know the Problem is really bad, but those People gave us so much Joy with their Work, they definitely deserve a Break.
So glad that I do still have a few Career Mode Scenarios to Play🦊🐴🫎🦋

Widespread issues affecting the majority of franchise players didn't start until late December though.
As the originator of this thread, I can verify that this has been an issue for at least some of us for months. The game was unplayable for me for several months. When I could play again, I would still get frequent disconnects. Now, however, it's back to being absolutely unplayable.
