Once this thread hits X number of replies ill make a pole of everyones number 1 ship and then we can vote on the best looking ship of Movie Sci-Fi.

RULES

1. must be a space ship from Silver Screen Movies and not TV.
2. must be a ship that can carry more than 4 passengers

I'm sorry the Star Destroyer.

Not that I care so much about the ship, but that introduction in Star Wars where it chases the blockade runner.... I don't think anything has ever come close to a sheer cinematic moment.

I was going to mention that one.

Either that or one of the Vogon Constructor Fleet ships...

I loved the heart of gold in the tvseries, it was exactly how if was described in the books. A seek running shoe. Didn't like it so much in the film though.

So the original doesn't count I'm afraid

For me however the drop ship in aliens is my no1 everything about it ticks all the boxes.

Come on fess up you lot, the reason the Liberator is #1 is because of your attachment to Zen. I know myself as a kid, when Zen was failing under the corrosion onslaught in "Terminal", his last words ... "I have failed you. I am sorry. I ..." Those words absolutely gutted me that day, I actually shed a tear for a dying A.I. and spaceship.
