Frontier, let us use Nublar 2015 as Nublar 1993!!! JW's futuristic entry does not allow JP!

This is exactly what happened in JP1 tbh when you selected the JP era.

Yes.

I know the game is only a week old and that a lot will be fixed, but it surprises me how the developers - after three years of requests, complaints for bigger maps - continue to make mistakes in such detail and not provide us with more LARGER MAPS. I'm happy with a map the size of Nublar 2015, but I wanted it working for JP, and I wanted more maps that size.

I don't want to play Tiny Sorna. The community asked for, insisted on a BIG Sorna and look what we got... It's disappointing.

Man, that's not our problem (players). It's the developers who didn't quite think about making something really customizable, about making something that fans would like to play the way they want to. I haven't omitted anything, I'm just saying how it should be, and that it needs to be "fixed" for better style alternation. YOU decide what you want to play on the map you want. I see two ways to resolve the situation:

- Give us the opportunity to delete the entry at the start of the match. Or if you choose JP, she doesn't exist. (do you really find this so impossible to do?)

- Create another ing map for Nublar island that is BIG. We asked for large maps three years ago and when JWE2 arrives we get a 1993 mountain range interfering with everything.

I can't accept that saved games is such a problem. It's ridiculous actually.
It was the reason given for why they couldn't make maps bigger in JWE1, so I assume it's applicable for any and all map changes. Suffice to say, you'll be keeping your save files without corruption.

I understand that, I understood back there when you first spoke.

I just don't think it's something really problematic to solve. Let me ask a more direct question: Would you also like to see the Nublar 2015 map being playable with Jurassic Park assets? Because the way you write it, it seems like you're just defending the problems Frontier would have to fix it.

Dude, leave the problems to them. Let's ask for a modification of this. If people want, they'll find a way.

I would like to have the option of any entrance be usable on any map. Does that mean it's going to happen if it affects save files? Not likely.

My bigger point is that you should manage your expectations and expect that some things just won't ever change. Even with complaining, there's just some things that Frontier will refuse to change.

This happens when they don't listen well to the player base.

We've been asking for bigger maps and more Sandbox features for three years through the forums, the steam forums, reddit, but instead it seems they just focused on building the staff-cientists-simulator that many are complaining about. Anyway, I won't keep repeating myself. I have already given my opinion. This game in its current state disappoints even the smallest details...

I'm hoping to Frontier fix the entrance, really. In addition to fixing this, I hope they make the Sandbox more customizable with the next patches. Curious to know the position of the dev tomorrow.

Why couldn't they have just made Nublar 1993 without all those weird constraints and used it for JW as well. They're supposed to be the same island anyway!!!

What would be better is if they just made the JP era Nublar map bigger. The map has the waterfall and everything. There is some space there they just need to get rid of some of the terrain restraints. But even then it wouldn't be as big as the JW Nublar map. The design of the JP Nublar map is just weird really. Like they have this long corridor leading to where the waterfall is. That could have been a bit shorter. I am not saying we should build a 1:1 scale park cause that would be impossible. But the map is just too small to build a nice looking JP themed park.

This post yielded some suggestions, but it seems that no developer cares about this detail. Not even a "Thanks for the feedback" in this post.

I don't think they'll ever mess with this. They do not care.

I have some doubts even about the ones they did respond to. There's no transparency to show that developers have ACTUALLY seen what we post. It could be mere lip service and we wouldn't know.

Post with almost 40 thread responses and Jens Erik and dev's won't say anything. I don't even know if the developers actually read our GAME IMPROVEMENT comments, to point out what's wrong and fix it.

Frontier is notoriously bad at acknowledging communication and actual issues, it is a well known fact. But they're all too happy to answer 20 times during a livestream when a game is releasing :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

When there are glowing comments, the response is very quick and humorous. If it's constructive criticism, it's at best a "Thanks for the feedback. Now be quiet there."
