Frontier please continue working for consoles!

Whilst the horse has been well and truly flogged to death, regarding Elite on current gen. I do hope Frontier have considered resumimg console development in the future, at least at an internal meeting.

Personally playing Elite on a Windows 11 handheld now though, but it would still be nice.

If the rumours for the next Xbox are true and Microsoft are indeed looking into having other storefronts on it, then I do wonder what it'll mean for Elite Dangerous, on Xbox at least.

Good day to everyone. I connected my computer to the TV today - as a result, the color reproduction is worse, the contrast, brightness and smoothness, and sound are worse than on the PS5! Tested on Samsung Neo QNED 98" TV .I has brought back the PS5 and everything is much better. Even game controls Searching for systems and transporting along your trade route (three buttons and the route to the station is laid out) is more conveniently implemented on the console, no matter how strange it may sound. I don't need an add-on with a shooter at all. It would be better to make interesting animated characters at the stations and interesting story quests! Continue working on consoles!

I don't want to offend other pilots who praise the game on PC, but it feels like you haven't played it on PS5. it turns out: "I haven't read the book, but I condemn it"

I still play on PS5 occasionally. My PS-Commander even has it's carrier (it is now, sadly, disconnected from the PC-Galaxy, so on PC, it will never move again).

Regarding the controls, yes, the controller on PS is much better than the PS-controller or the X-Box-controller on PC, but it's a matter of getting used to it. On PC you can play with controller and you also have the keyboard and the mouse.

As far as your color and sound problems are concerned, this is more a question of the settings on your TV. Modern TVs recognize a connected console and switch to the proper sound and color settings. If your TV does not have a suitable gaming PC mode, well, you may have to find the right settings (or search for it on the web). Some TVs also have a special HDMI port to which you should connect the PC.

When all is set up, the graphics are simply much better on the PC. Not just because of Odyssey, but also because of true 4K. Give the PC a chance!
