You can clearly see how much more realistic and natural it looks.

Many people are complaining about how unrealistic the Lion looks compared to other animals your team created like the Zebra (which is excellent)

So please fix the Lion.

The original Lion looks cartoony/unrealistic, I thought you were aiming for realism as much as possible like you have stated but when it comes to the Lions it is certainly lacking any true to life realism.

The Zebra for example is excellent, the Zebras has a quite realistic look & animations so please make the Lion on par with the Zebra's level of realism and it would take the lions to a whole different level of actual realism.

Detailed? Yes
Realistic? Meh

And honestly small details like that aren’t hard to adjust 🤷‍♀️

About 5 main differences :
1) The chin of a real Lion is thinner with different looking hairs (right side wins).
2) The original Lion is smiling, real Lions don't (right side wins).
3) The nose is way too wide and thick compared to real Lions (right side wins).
4) The lips of a real Lion (and like Aero-Bubbles said his black eye lines) are much more pronounced than on the left side Lion (right side wins)
5) The proportions of the eyes + their shape and angle of real Lions are much much more like the right side (again right side wins once again).

So there you go, these are the differences that make a huge impact over the realism of the fake looking Lion.

I'm sorry but i don't see it like a top priority, it's just a little detail in the lion's face. I understand the problem with the Black Wildbeest tail or the first indian peafowl, but here, honestly, i don't really care, even without that it already looks pretty realistic and detailed.

"just a little detail in the lion's face" - little differences that make a night to day difference....its these small differences that make a big massive and meaningful change, it takes it from fake looking Lion to a real looking Lion.

Lions are a massive part of the game. Not saying that peafowl and wildebeest are not, however out of those, the lion has more popularity on its side. It’s easier to fix these little details now, while the game remains unreleased than later. If people are picking up on the wildebeests and peafowl, then it’s a good thing they point out features on the lion as well. You can’t point out someone on another animal, and then suddenly switch sides, thats not how it works. It’s constructive criticism that will improve an animals looks, it’s no different than what you were going with the others.
People can say “well it’s just a tail” for the wildebeest as well, a minor detail, but as already pointed out, minor details can make all the difference

I agree I’m a huge fan of lions and their my favorite animal but the PZ male lion is too stylized imo. Imo it also takes top priority of animals in game in need of a overhaul. It’s not bad but definitely could be better. The most iconic animal perhaps in history arguably deserves better. And yes Havoks lion is a much better representation of what this animal should look like.
