Not read whole thread, so I guess this has already been said, but I just want to point out that it is a hell of a fuss to get an update out for three platforms, no matter how minor. There is a reason why they go through the approval and testing process as few times a cycle as possible.
Frontier, since 3.0 is not soon, pls put module, and material limits up now, thx.

Does console updating requite some kind of approval from microsoft's and sony's end? If so that takes it's own time. It's better to harshly cut any ties to elite while waiting. It's easier to find out one day that patch landed than everyday come to forums hoping the best.
Yes, for consoles they have to jump through hoops and adhere to many rules. On the PC they have their own rules.

Not too sure why though. I would prefer them to release it when its ready instead of filled with even more bugs. As it happens I am not waiting, I am playing.
