Obviously you will need to download it on Sony store or whatever its called first.

make sure you have evidence backed up by eyewitnesses, cos someone gets angry when we make baseless assumtions or you get called delusional. me and bill have both been shouted at

Yeah, ha ha, free from Sony, ha ha, that's a good one. Where do you do your stand up comedy act at?

If it is free on the frontier store, I believe Sony will keep it free on the PSN. If anything, nothing will be included as "add-on" and we will have access to the frontier store through the game.

I'm a noob at this video gaming thing and my ps4 is my first device. But I've investigated every avenue available and know where do I or have I seen where the ps4 directs one to anouther site to purchase anything. My observations have been, if a game as a variety of approved add ons, ps4 sells them as add ons. Thus no sharing of profits.

But then again, why do we have to have two accounts, I understand having a psn account, by why a Frontier account. Except as you state, to buy add ons.

I can tell you for a fact that Ubisoft likes doing it. PSN might sell some add-ons, but there are specific only add-ons that you have to access through the in-game store that directs you to the Ubisoft store (kind of like frontier's).

Also, I have seen a handful just sell the currency (frontier points) on the PSN and you have to navigate a version of the store within the game to make purchases.

As far as your second paragraph Bill, Ubisoft makes you do it and so due various freemium games like War Thunder. But there are a lot other venues that make you create a separate account to just link it to your PSN account anyways: Steam, Twitch, Youtube.

This is Ubisoft's store I was referring to. You can buy points or earn them by completing certain requirements (like trophies). Then you go into the store and obtain exclusive stuff through the use of "uplay units".

My first encounter with this was Medal of Honor on the PS3 (still using PSN) and my recent was Rainbow Six.

I hope this is enough evidence so I don;t get shouted at. :(
