And I'm going to miss it as well, im too far away (24KLy) and have no time to take off work and then theres also beta's to try
I wonder if you can take part in the CG IN the beta. Be a fast way back to the bubble!

I was there (literally) at the start of the Mischief and would love to help out with this great CG but I'm 65,000LY away and determinedly trying to fall off the edge of the Galaxy. I couldn't make it back in time to make any kind of meaningful contribution and the deep black keeps calling me away.....

It's a real shame, especially as the beta has been announced as planned for Thursday. The Rats are great but I bet it's going to really hit the participation levels and not just for those a long way off.
I appear to be out of rep - can we have a community goal to give more rep please.
Edit: oh, and before anyone else points this out - yes OK, Jaques habitation ring does indeed appear to have fallen off in the image that I used. That's the thing with advertising posters, they rarely show the truth.

I'm planning on people bursting the CG with Fuel so it ends quicker, and then everyone can get to Beta happily. That'd be amazing !
Has anybody got a load of pipework about 500LS long? That way we could have a large ship park in scooping range of the star, and the fuel flowing down the pipe to the station. Actually, make that about 200 pipes 500LS long.
You might think that a "Roaming" Station would have a Fuel Scoop equipped... Turns out even the best can be forgetful... And who knows where we could be building a Fuel Scoop that would fit a Station... Engineers ?

Anyway I kinda want to see Jaques make the trip to Obsidian Orbital or somewhere cool....
I think we should help the old guy make his way to Sag A and park it with a view of the black hole. With as many explorers that have made it there, it's becoming like the Grand Canyon in space. Have him arrive about the time we get the ability to walk out of our ships so we can walk into that bar and sit there with a drink in our hand and look out the window. (and throw the empty beer cans and snickers wrappers into the void)

I went down to have a look. They sell hand held stills. Hand held, one shot stills. I bought one for each hand.
