The Federation issued a request to anyone willing to help to bring resources to Brady Horizons to help build New Farragut Battlecruisers to match the Imperial's campaign to construct New Majestic Interdictors.
Imperial supporters calling themselves Lavigny's Legion took credit for what many are calling “A pre-emptive strike” against the Federation.
The opening statement of their claim as follows:
“We are responsible for the attack on all merchant vessels aiding the Federation in this system. I'm with Lavigny's Legion, loyal to the Emperor and been ordered the disrupt efforts in the building of new Farragut Class ships that will be used against the Empire.”
Federal Security Services were called to suppress the riots that broke out with angry Federation citizens calling for the death of this newest group of Terrorists who supposedly operate with the Emperor's Blessing.
When asked to Comment, Post Captain Adhock had this to say:
“If the Empire has actually legitimized these attacks, they are declaring open war with the Federation. If not, then Emperor Lavigny-Duval has some serious explaining and housekeeping to do. If she doesn't get her subjects in line, they'll bring war to the galaxy whether she wants it or not. I used to respect her but now her claims of Imperial Justice and Honor are looking like the empty words of a figurehead.”

The Liberal Party has lost influence among the people of the Federation both in the context of "lore" and in the context of Powerplay of late. I would note that some of these articles would lead some to believe there is some skullduggery going on in Federation politics that lead to the loss of Liberal control of the presidential office, and the continued growth of the Republican/Conservative party. Title: 9th Legion analyses Space Madness.
Description: The 9th Legion has been making use of it's deployment to the Prou nebula by experimenting the effects of different jumps ranges on space madness.
Over the course of the week they have been utilising two commanders and the difference between their ships. One being able to jump almost 30 ly and the other only 18.
After an extended time the flight controllers were instructed to start giving audio cues and feeding the participants false information, causing one to start having panic attacks and delusions of markers on his sensors although he had switched them off 1000 ly previosuly to conserve heat.
Although the experiment is not over, it has already been noted that the shorter jump range has experienced higher levels of stress and loss of appetite, leading to a lack of efficiency.
More will be reported on the results of this trial when it has concluded

Bounty hunters and the like, if you can bother the mega-long haul, there is an interesting situation developing out here in Eol Prou nebula.
Jaques Station is queued up for Civil Unrest and Lockdown.
There are no contacts to turn bounties to yet, but the impending fix of station should rectify that. Civil Unrest is nice for that, as it increases value of bounties handed. Lockdown on the other hand shuts down markets, which is poison to the current mining goal and any future ones.
If shipyard is added here, and there are sufficient ships and modules offered, one should be able to set up a combat vessel for bounty hunting and pirate chasing here.
