TITLE: Fickle Allegiance

DESCRIPTION:
An official statement from Admiral Patreus or his representatives has yet to be made about the enthusiastic response to the Majestic-class Interdictor construction effort, but the rewards programme that allowed the materials quota to be reached well ahead of schedule has been heralded as key to its success.

Captain Alexis Corvus, who recently championed an increase in payouts on Imperial objectives, shared her thoughts:

“The Pilots Federation itself has always been neutral in political matters. However, its members, being mercenaries at heart, have demonstrated that their fickle allegiance goes to the highest bidder. Indeed, many of the commanders initially opposing our efforts ended up contributing to our goals when apprised of our rewards programme. We hope they remember this and support the Empire in the future.”

One Federation-leaning commander confirmed:

“Yeah, I know a bunch of my guys were there. They said the money was too good to ignore.”

TITLE: Imperial Tourism Industry Booming

DESCRIPTION:
The Imperial tourism industry in the vicinity of the Morai system was infused with hundreds of millions of credits as independent pilots with deep pockets descended upon the region this week. The three systems to benefit most from the spike in tourism are Akualanu, Coelatuvean, and Xuanebuth.

David Humphrey, the CEO of Akualanu United & Co granted an interview with the Akualanu Herald and described how Hughes Vista has been affected by the tourism surge.

“We were quite delighted when hundreds of Pilots Federation commanders chose to visit Hughes Vista and asked for our most luxurious accommodations, fare, and scenic tours of the region in our fleet of Beluga liners. I am pleased to note that their patronage has made it possible for us to greatly upgrade the aesthetics of our facility. We hope to unveil our designs within the coming months.”

TITLE: Galcop Supports New Dawn Station Repairs

DESCRIPTION:
In response to the failed services at New Dawn Station caused by nefarious black market unknown artifact sales, Galcop representatives are pleased to announce the reopening of the station located in the Ceos system. A Coalition comprised of Commanders from Dark Echo, PBSF, EXO, and Sirius Inc. supplied over 3300 Meta-Alloys to New Dawn Station in a two week effort culminated by Operation: Corrupted by the Realization where Dark Echo delivered 1540 Meta-Alloys in one night and PBSF’s Operation Orpheus where over 1500 Meta-Alloys were delivered over two weeks. Early Estimations by EXO accountant's suggest that the total net worth of all deliveries was over 380,000,000 galactic credits.

With the renewal of station services once again the demand for transporters of the quality Biowaste that only systems like Ceos and Sothis can provide can finally be met again. Commanders from all across the galaxy are once again invited to come and help ship this valuable commodity back to the habitable planets in the Civilized sphere that so desperately need it!

As noted in the guidelines at the top of this thread, we only give feedback if there are small, objective issues with a submission (e.g. mentioning a particular character or organisation that we intend to use in our own story, or neglecting to include a location for publication). Given the finite amount of time at our disposal, it isn’t possible for us to enter into a discussion about more complex or subjective issues.

With that said, it’s worth noting that submissions should ideally be no more than 150 words long.

After a 9 month ED hiatus, is there a website (or .pdf I could download to my tablet) I can access please to catchup with all things Galnet during my lunchbreaks this week? I enjoy the storylines as much as the action. Thanks in advance.

TITLE: BREAKING NEWS: CRASHED ALIEN SHIP FOUND


DESCRIPTION:


After a influx of clues by an unknown group the Canonn Research Group have found a crashed alien ship. The Commander in question who found it goes by the name of Commander Noctrach.
This is the first sign of Alien activity in over 150 years. Reports are coming in that the ship is Thargoid. The Alien race that we previously had a war with 150 years ago. Could they be coming back? Or is this an old wreckage from the war.
