I've been getting that issue too. Every link on the news page in the launcher just goes to the client installer. Which isn't useful, considering we need to install it to see it, and the launcher handles upgrades. Any chance we could get that changed to a link to these forum posts, or an external changelog?

A commander's log, akin to the one in eve which tracks any reputation change with anyone would be the fix, I wouldn't expect anything like that before release though

Adam,

Any chance you can give us any more idea about the possibility of a wipe before the 16th, or on the 16th?

If it's looking likely, will we keep our reputation, credits, and/or will the galaxy seed change, do you think?

Any opinions or insight would be welcome, to allow for an informed decision for testers/players.

Excellent work again everybody. I can confirm a full outfittings shop at High Tech stations, (well at the one I'm at at least) ;D Good to see news articles get a mention in the change log too....Me and my mining Viper are ready for 16/12/14. If this pristine metallic ring of Palladium ever stops giving I might go and explore the rest of the Universe but 150,000 credits per run makes it hard to leave!!!

Great Scott. Refueling my ship threw me back to the main menu, my current mission is in a quantum state, meaning, i have no transaction or cargo anymore, but the mission still shows up in BB, but i can't finish it, because i don't have the mission or the cargo anymore. But i have the money i got from doing the mission, etc.
And the very first hyper jump to the next system made the game hang just as it was about to jump (jump countdown at zero, there's the hyper jump effect and eerie howling, but nothuing happens and i have to kill the game's process.

As long as you dont do that thing where you exit to main menu to reset the rock, good on ya.

I get this message after downloading 1.05

"The program can't start because XINPUT1_3.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem"

I have tried reinstalling with the same result.

Any ideas anybody?

- fix for crash seen during processing of the render queue

tweaks and general fixes
- fix for sudden starport rotation jumps
- fix for game time getting out of sync between clients
- fix for multiple stars having same system address
- fix for not being able to purchase ships even when player has enough money tied up in their current ship to part exchange
- added resource loading failure reports
- added telemetry to help investigate why resource overlays sometimes get into a dead state

server updates
- players should once again be eligible for their own stock allocation of rare goods instead of sharing one with everybody shopping at that station
- outfitting shops throughout inhabited space should now stock a greater variety of internal modules
- start creating news articles when minor factions change state in response to commanders' actions and inactions.
- minor improvements to server reliability, user presence and matchmaking

Since the update...

My fuel scoop doesn't function the majority of the time and I know which stars I can use for scooping my fuel. This annoying and dangerous for exploring.
I cannot leave the current system I am in, I lose connection to the server and have to restart.

:(
