Server updates
- Players should once again be eligible for their own stock allocation of rare goods instead of sharing one with everybody shopping at that Station

Seems to have been messed up.

In the hour or so since 1.05 I've made 600,000 (or was it it 800,000 cr) in profit after initial spend just by trading "rare" items in a near stock cobra with 30 tonnes of cargo space.

10000+ credits per minute.

And you can buy Lavian Brandy at Lave for 3,500 and sell it right back for 3,514 without even leaving the commodities screen. It's that rare and special, that it's on sale at a loss by the station, in high supply and they'll pay you to get shot of it for them!

Wohoo! First big pop system i went to had power plants, thrusters, plating, power distributors, life supp and all the others except FSD's. Also real good weapon aresenal. :) Finally i can jump juuuust shy of 9Ly in my Ealge and have new thrusters, better Power distr. and new power plant. Cheers FD. Things are looking up.
My Hauler can now carry 22 tons of cargo and jump 20+ LY. Which is nice.

No fix yet for the crash when going into the universal cartographics menu? :(
I thought they fixed that in gamma 1.04...

Yes and no.

It fixed a CTD caused by explorers having too many scans to submit by limiting the number you could submit in a single visit to Stellar Cartography.

There was however a further CTD we (those who suffered it) believe to be connected to scanning data from procedurally generated systems that is currently unknown as far as Stellar Cartography is concerned.

:(

Yes I've noticed this and as original poster say's; the flickering changing star field from intense to none at all...still not fixed:(....AND muted engine noise!

Hmm very sad to hear that. Was looking forward to those things being corrected, I have a feeling that it is what it is now.

I am already concerned about lack of PvP interaction, but this seems like another strong move in single-player direction. Are we going to end up with a game that has neither true offline, nor true online component?

Guess you ticketed it?

Everytime I shoot a wanted npc, im flagged as wanted in return. Makes bounty hunting pretty hard as the "expenses" are pilling up quite rapidly

Definitive wipe now ?

I don't understand why people keep asking this. There WILL be a wipe. It was confirmed back around when gamma/beta 3.9 was released. One of the devs said "We're going to wipe for release". and then in response to questions, he basically said "Look, I could say maybe, but then you guys will freak out if there's a wipe, so I'm just telling you there's a wipe".

So there's a super tiny percentage that they don't wipe, but they're going to wipe. Expect a wipe. Always expect a wipe.

Stuttering in visuals and sound seem to be getting increasingly worse. Really hope this is being addressed as the devs are undoubtedly putting in lots of hard work to release updates.

Wish there was something I could do, some setting, some tweak, to fix it....

Just finish reinstall now, no changes, still trapped in Pleiades region without possibility to sign in...
"Unable to retrieve Commander data from the server...bla bla bla..."

S.O.S.

Cartographic problems now seem to be fixed.
I can:
a) use the BDS to discover new objects (although there was a long delay)
b) scan unknown objects and identify them
c) get a systems list in the UC menu at a station, rather than a time-out

Considering yesterday or the day before they said they don't want to wipe, they don't know if they'll wipe and if they do what kind of wipe it'll be, it's quite reasonable for people to wonder.

On the subject of Wipes. I hope there's part wipe because my rep in the Fed and empire space has been made unfreindly because of the stuiped permit system. I would not mind starting again. But abit of cash from the stuff i have worked up would be welcome.

BTW did anyone else miss the free Eagle ?. I used the sidewinder untel i got a hauler and the did not find out about the eagle untel after i got my cobra.
I have not even been able to sell the dam thing because i am so far away :).

Guys how about a remote sell function on your stored ships :).

I once managed to get inside a station doing this and as i landed it shifted. Found myself inside the station walls. Thats 100k Cr i will never see again.

I know it's a bit 'after the fact' but once when I got stuck inside the walls I just logged out, and when I logged back in again I was in open space, away from the station. Unless you exploded, of course.
