Installed the new Gamma and now it keeps locking up on the spinning screen in the DK2. Tried several times, did a restart. Nothing fixing it. Anyone have any suggestions?

Finally finished downloading and I can successfully log into the game, but I can't do anything in the starport menu / cockpit. No reaction to mouse, no reaction to keyboard (except escape key). Anyone else with this issue?

Pro tip: when you get your control bindings the way you like them, copy the Custom.binds somewhere for safekeeping.

Because they didn't do a full wipe

Serously, I took a week setting my controls up, so made backups because every Beta got rid of it, or part of it.
It's not fun. I empathize with this. And just made a backup now, because I tweaked it a couple of days ago and hadn't backed it up.

Anyone downloading now, go to your
C:\Users\{login windows name}\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings

and copy the file "Custom.Bindings" to your desktop or somewhere safe

As mentioned before, redownloading the Launcher fixed the Bad Request from Server issue for me.
The change log is gigantic and most of it is incredible. 2 new ships, sound tweaks and all those small fixes (for some things I didn't even notice) sound incredible.

The new spawning system sure spiked my interest in exploration - I'll be heading far out soon.
Can't wait to see the Adder - a small ship is what I really hoped for!

Why the folder ControlSchemes in E: D install location is always wiped clean with new update? I've copied my Custom.binds there as LogitechExtreme3Dpro.binds, to let me select a working preset for my controller, but with every update it is gone.

Of course, copying it back there from my backup folder isn't a big job, feels just a tad unnecessary.
BTW, if you (FDEV in general) want, you can use my bindings file as a preset for Logitech Extreme 3D Pro (as you don't seem to have one handy for to make the presets yourself).
