Patch Notes Update Gamma 2.07 incoming

All good, but for those who are waiting for some comment about the borked Federation Rank Progress mission to kill Maelstrom - can we get some indication as to whether you even know that Maelstrom doesn't appear at all? (a sample size of 3000+ USS have been tested.. zero Maelstrom occurances)

Great - just made it back to port for mission debrief. Cant wait - seems this answers the question when we will get the release. Not much sense in releasing gamma 2.07 less than two hours before midnight, if that was the scheduled release.
 
Although I am glad of the patches to fix annoying bugs, I cant play the flaming game! Everytime I start playing I get chucked off five minutes later! Hope it all settles down tomorrow evening (he says). One of these days I might actually be able to start playing this game properly.

With release at tomorrow mid-day I'd imagine there'll be either a glut of people all trying to squeeze on to overloaded servers, or it'll just be plain awesomesauce.

Cough ... no external views, always stated it will be that way as it makes it completely unlike you are actually a pilot sitting in a ship ... cough
 
Hi,

gamma 2.07 is incoming. The servers will go off at 10.15pm GMT and will be down for up to 45 minutes. Here's the change log:

- Don't crash if a location ID isn't valid
- Fix text chat
- Fix assert when loading nebulae
- Fix set target AI assert
- Don't crash when in system map and dropped out of supercruise
- Prevent rare crash if camera thinks it's in 3D mode but isn't
- Avoid crashing if LightCones gets destroyed before it has finished creating
- Make shields on Adder fit better
- Bring warzones and civil warzones more in line with new bounty numbers, reward up to 3000c
- Block incorrect Minor Factions giving Federal or Imperial missions
- Fix massacre mission feedback/flow
- Fix courier mission flow/feedback
- Fix assassination missions so they don't pay out twice
- Prevent players from accepting the same permit mission again after they've already got that permit
- Extend timeout for mission initial object query
- Auto-downgrades: only select resolutions that match the native aspect ratio of the current display
- Make all Salvage Rebel Transmissions missions use the indie text
- Prevent the old repairer module from having more ammo than it has capacity for by restoring its ammo capacity to 5000
- Added missing decal slots to Python
- Fix broken paint job strings
- Fix to a region name to prevent confusion when looking up generated systems
- Prevent queueing the same cargo more than once to be ejected
- Handle the case for when adjusting binary stars closer we end up causing them to intersect

Wow working late and didn't expect this with the release tomorrow. Good Job!

Question though, after release, are we going to be expecting patches for the rest of the week like we have with the previous releases, or are you all taking the week off and patching next week before xmas?

Just curious what we're to expect over the next few weeks. What are the plans?
 
release is at 1pm gmt on the 16th, so roughly 13 and a half hours :)

Hope they fix the massacre pirates missions, when you take 2 of them the mission branchs get confused and none appear in USS.
