I'm doing fine with a good in-system trading route between two stations with 1700ls difference betweem them both. No need to jump, just supercruise back and forth.
I know, it's dull and tedious but i make 250.000 credits in 7 minutes.
Almost as fast as with the rare tradings before 2.06.
Btw. just go and do some missions and fill em up with trading. You'll soon find good and profitable routes for trading. You could also search for them in the galaxy map which i did. It's not hard to find a good supply of credits in the game.

Pfft we will see a Gamma 3.0 and then in tradition it will be Live 1.0 through to 3.0 and just when you expect 4.0 there will be an expansion to reset it back to EDWM 1.0 (Elite Dangerous Walking Mode) and the cycle starts over

It will take some time for upgrade to be rolled out.
What's the big deal? Surely you don't want to be using it ;-)
Wait what? The 50% and 75% insurance reduction is only on hull value now? That is a good move because the maintenance costs of the more powerful ships is so high it would be totally imbalanced to have some players grind twice the time to finance their PVP.
