I have just logged in to the current client and there are new options to choose a name and then your starting pack, which suggests we can have multiple commanders (albeit with the same name), is that correct? :)

The servers are not updated yet, and the Gamma update for your client is not released yet.

Awesome, thankyou to all at FD, what you've achieved this year is staggering, and the changlogs reflect how hard you guys work to deliver. Hope the party rocks!

I have to admit I feel a bit impatient now!

I got the Beta some days ago and struggled with the unhelpful tutorials and eventually gave up on the "Training Missions" after realizing they were more akin to an advanced training exam. I was beginning to worry that this was a very difficult game. I decided to try Beta 3.05 instead, which promptly went offline for a few hours to do the upgrade to 3.9. Due to player eagerness, I suppose, my upgrade stuck halfway through. When I finally had 3.9 going, and time to play, the servers shut down for 3.9.1 and as soon as that was done, my game shut down for the Gamma. I'm sure our pilots/astronauts are all banging on the panels of their craft until sparks fly, trying to get things going. I look forward to the rest. I do have fond memories of the confusing experience I had with Elite way back when.

I just decided for the crack to start the beta launcher and met with this screen though it's still reporting 3.9.1 as the version. It's edging closer!!!

It also still says Beta 3.91 in the bottom left...

Did you find your order in your Account Dashboard? Inside this order (accessible by clicking View Order) there should be a click-able link, mine says 'Design Decision Forum' which is my pledge tier - I click on that and it lists up all the rewards.
