Its quite slow to load the game with the spinning ship, but the big problem for me is that I cannot now complete hyperspace jumps successfully, without killing the process in Task Manager :(

Ticket raised.

Had spinning ship. Didn't change UPnP. Now got into game (tried both solo and open, worked both ways). Must be servers.

Hi all,

Could those of you who are having a problem loading into game where you are getting stuck with a spinning ship change your AppConfig.xml from

upnpenabled="1"

to

upnpenabled="0"

and try again, and let me know if that works for you.

Your AppConfig.xml file can be found in the same place the Elitedangerous32.exe resides.

Thanks,
Col

Tried this, no change, spinny Cobra for over ten minutes before I force-quit it.

Only problem with the Spinning Ship is no way to cancel if it is going on too long (other than task managering it)

Actually, there is an alternative (prob. more):
- ALT-TAB while ship is spinning
- Right mouse click on Client (EliteDangerous32) on the taskbar
- Select "Close Window"

BTW, my ship is also spinning like a ballet dancer in tune with the music... more than 10 min. now...

Wow! You chaps are putting in some seriously hard work.

Bet you're looking forward to the Christmas break!

Well done all.

This worked for me, thanks!

Bug:
Could not land. The yellow flashing overlay was visible, but no landing radar came when I was close and touchdown did nothing. After cancel request and request again it worked. Saw this a couple of iterations earlier.

Try turning off anti-aliasing works for me every time I get this bug!
It could be a coincidence although it has worked the 4 times I've had spinning ship
