I've got manual udp port triggering setup.

2 and half hours Solid play
No hyperspace forever, bugs ,
no CTD,

I'm just hopping star systems, simple discovery, , not trading, no cargo hold.

I've been interdicted once and died. (I should have run, when I had the chance)
Fuel scoop message stays on a bit longer on screen, sometimes.

SO far so good.

I haven't tried 2.06 yet (still at work lol)
But I've always played with UPnP enabled.

I might just select a random port and turn it off, since I'm already in the DMZ of my router. See if it perhaps enhances the networking at all

From UK also, (Nottinghamshire). Also on Virgin but 50MB. Standard PC with GTX660Ti card, latest NVidia drivers. No fancy setup. Everything was very good in gamma up until yesterday. Then lots of disconnections (and a lot more interdictions than usual). Playing in open mode. Today, everything is running sweetly, so far ......

Great work, all you folks at FD. All the best for a successful launch tomorrow.

Things appear to be a lot more stable, no server disconnects for nearly 2 hours now. Fingers crossed...
Wishing FD and all the fans an exciting and error free global launch tomorrow.

Judging by artifacts FD still seems to struggle to get a hang on UPnP broken implementations. For those having disconnects and knowing how to forward ports, try to configure ED via it's configuration file for specific port, and forward it in your router - and see how it does improves things.

Also you can try turn off UPnP altogether too.

Seems they are trying to fix all sorts of network problems.
Maybe they are targetting on a moving where several systems have different API used for network connectivity and are behaving slightly different and the few that have that have to wait for a proper fix.

If you ticket it and add you netlog file it may help them identify if the problem is at their end or yours or with an isp

In my case, Gamma 2.02 worked fine. After 2.03 update, grey START button and CLEAR SAVE. Don't think it's ISP related, as I have also tethered my PC to mobile phone with the same result.

FD have definitely bust the game. Anyway, ticket raised and netlogs sent. Not looked at yet by the looks of things, though.

I'm just up the road from you too, in beautiful County Durham.

No stuttering near planets for some time already. Just one micro freeze nearing station, but that's all.

Glad it's not happening to you, but it was nearly unplayable the last two nights for me. The bug still exists in all it's game destroying glory. At least I'm not able to exploit my beta insurance on modules anymore though, phew!

New issue for me with 2.06. Classic keyboard mode. When I click return or enter I flivk between windows and full screen mode. The return and enter will not select options!

It is not same bug (which was network related). Have you tried to tune down details of planets (Environment option in graphics) and see if that helps?

I have the stuttering issue aswell. Near planets, it drops to almost unplayable (1fps maybe?!).

I also find that jumping into hyperspace causes it to hang about 50% of the time. Literally as the swirly animation is starting, it's stutters, and sometimes hangs, sometimes makes it through.

I run at 1280x720 on the lowest graphics settings (no shadows, no anti aliasing, low quality textures), and it's still pretty rubbish. FPS everywhere else is fine.

Apart from performance issues, everything else is great!

I was playing for about 2 and a half hours today. I had no show-stoppers. ED was performing great with no stability issues.

Some minor (not show stopper) observations:
- I can get a contract to get trade goods to a station when the station already has the goods. I do like the free money, but perhaps this shouldn't happen.
- NPC Hauler was wanted while Viper Police loitered and didn't do anything. I blew up the hauler effortlessly and got the bounty. I like free money, but I feel that the police may want to act a bit different in this scenario.
- I picked up Imperial Slaves from the destroyed Hauler, but all systems in my space prohibits slaves. I wanted to free them, but I couldn't. Instead, I had to eject them to the cold of space so I wouldn't get convicted. Poor guys/gals :( . Maybe we should be able to convert the cargo to "Liberated Slaves".

These are minor "observations". I would hardly call them issues.

Can't wait for tomorrow.

Ticketed on 25th November. Still tagged as 'New'.

just re-submitted a 'new ticket' to this problem. Apart from one brief comment some time ago by Michael who said some progress had been made but more needs to be done, there have been no further info reported. If this still appears tomorrow there may be many more experiencing this.
