Monitor selection bug.

If you are running a multi monitor setup, ED will not allow you to select a monitor, it defaults to the Primary Monitor. it used to be possible to select what monitor you displayed ED on.

Changes to trading are done server-side, keep an eye for server-side change log

is it me or the shadows outside the space stations are slow rendering.

Depends when you got infected with the small post 2.05 update, I played 2.05 without issue for 3 hours until I got kicked and the small upgrade got installed, was constant server discos from then on.

Does anyone know if your save file is saved on line or on your pc?

It is server side, that's why you have issues when your commander data can not be loaded.
