So much second hand embarrassment to go around in this thread. Dude wasn't invited to the facility for the sneak peek at the FSS or whatever that was and complained about that, too, as I recall. His entire shtick is bagging on the game, literally insulting the entire development team, and making <rude> noises while manipulating his "flight stick." I really feel like he's the only guy that was surprised he didn't get an alpha key.

What is your take please?
that exaggerated bullarxe isn't the real reason. the real reason can't be just accusations blown out of proportion. that is full steam damage control, trying to negate the contender. ;)

now ... yamiks should get his response together to this. this impasse is killing me ...

you mean that accusing yamiks practically of everything illegal on the internet and youtube actually floats? :ROFLMAO:
No, it's all a conspiracy to hide the flaws of EDO, because even though an alpha with many thousands of participants begins in six days, and hundreds of videos about it will start flooding the internet soon after, no one would ever notice if EDO turns out to be crap without yamiks! 🤪 🥳

Thank you, clear and succinct.

What is your take please?

Edit: Caress this new image system.

Basically they don't like his politically incorrect ways.

Good to see a more frank response. I will say however, that it doesn't seem to me that Yamiks intends to upset anyone with his lude or politically incorrect commentary, let alone that being his "sole purpose". I think he does it for comic effect, "for the views"!

In any case, I don't think this will hurt his channel, and will probably give it a little boost, at least temporarily, so I think Frontier has ended up inadvertently supporting Yamiks more than those they are considering their core content creators, or more accurately "core content creators we like".

I feel that is not what "politically incorrect" means. "Going out of your way to upset people" is better discribed as "being a dingleberry".

It's not like he is making some astute societal observations that are being suppressed by the powers that be. He simply intentionally insults people on a personal level over and over, and FD says they don't like working with such individuals.

If you want to be professionally active in a corporate environment you have to play by some very basic rules. If you just want to be the crude YouTube clown that is also possible. He wants to have his cookie and eat it too.

Well, except for the dev team who he constantly berates and insults. He, or anyone else, shouldn't really be surprised by FDev's decision.

And of course they mean "content creators we like", that's how it works! Publishers chose which influencers they want to support and drop them pretty quickly if they go toxic or "off-brand". It's not just about how many followers they have.
