I don’t care about equality and liberty, let battle and politics lie, let’s be together for once.
I understand the sentiment, but if you can't respect people's need for the former, the latter is going to be a really tough sell.
I don’t care about equality and liberty, let battle and politics lie, let’s be together for once.
For anyone who missed Her Majesty's broadcast, here is a transcript:
"My husband & I share your concerns & suffering in these unprecedented & difficult times - we can completely relate to those single mother nurses & low-paid zero-hours contract workers who are running out of money because I've also seen my assets decrease in value to a pitiful 1.6 billion pounds; self-isolation, social distancing & staying indoors has hit my household hard too - we only have 775 rooms in my house & the garden isn't quite as big as Hyde Park. Additionally, I'm down to my last eight servants; they are dispensable to us...oops, amusing Freudian-slip, there...I meant indispensable, of course!
Ultimately, this virus does not discriminate on the basis of class, wealth, ethnicity, accent, age or sex (unlike the extant UK establishment) - remember, we are all in this together - but in my favour, I do have instant access to my own personal ventilator, ICU & top-notch doctors under a system that patently prioritises my family above all of you plebs...& all because of the genetic lottery & the fact that my ancestors were more ruthless & violent than yours!
On behalf of the monarchy & country, I thank you all for your continued solidarity & stoicism - & my annual £50m payment from your taxes, of course - my embarrassingly credulous & acquiescingly loyal subjects"

Inspirational stuff - anyone else so proud to be British today?
Its a necessity to enforce personal distancing when the foolish, religious zealots, scofflaws and conspiracy freaks needlessly jeopardize the rest of us.Aye, badly worded. Best to you and yours, don’t let this be an excuse for further constraints on personal freedom. At the same time one should exercise such freedom to engage social responsibility.

Of course, parenting is something the royal family tends to make into much more of a part-time job.Being a parent, is also a full time job. Most of the planet's population manage to do that, (not me, no kids lol) so it 'is' possible.
As do most people with wealth.Of course, parenting is something the royal family tends to make into much more of a part-time job.
