Golem Rampage still broken all these years later

How am I supposed to get the final achievement if this is broken? Would it really take Frontier that much work to fix this small bug?
Doing the scenario over again does not work.

Yep, still broken.

Supposedly if you delete all Dex-R's Science progress and start again doing one star at a time it works - per the Steam forum, but I'm not ready to do that.
