I think the blood clouds should be for when visitors get snapped up by the jaws of a large carnivore. A little bit of blood drooling down the dinosaurs jaws when he bit down would be great too. Dinosaur on dinosaur battles really need some sort of puncture wounds. It doesn't need to be crazy bloody, but there should be blood and the dinosaur should respond to the infliction of the wound. An upgraded animation of the Trike Impaling the carnivore from JPOG, for example.

Never really understood the whole gore thing. Maybe its because I am actually usually squeamish but for me minimal levels of gore is usually enough. Certainly wouldnt buy a DLC for more gore.
A blood toggle option for any game is usually a smart move, but I don't think a ludicrous mode is likely to appeal to many.
100% spot on. [up] Any company, especially one as big and successful as Universal, will make it a point to try to appeal to the broadest market possibly.
