Graphics downgraded

My video card has 6 gigs of RAM, but where do I look up the VRAM allocation? And why is this just now happening in 3.3?

FWIW, if you're running Windows 10, you can monitor the GPU RAM allocation and other stats in Task Manager, More Details..., Second Tab under 'Performance'. It should list several stats including memory consumption for each of the installed GPUs.

I changed Volumetric quality from "high" to "medium" and dialed back the resolution one notch. I'll get back in combat and see what happens.

I'm having major freeze and crash issues in ED only so I attributed it to the ED update but I did upgrade my NVidia driver too. What is the controversy?

Not sure, I'm using the latest driver (2 x GTX 1070 in SLI), and the only issue I have noticed has been the same with the last few driver sets: If you use GeForce Experience to install them, the in-game recording overlay automatically gets switched on. For some reason that causes a conflict with ED (since about 3.3 Beta 2) resulting in freezes and CTD.

Turning that overlay off in GeForce Experience solves the issue. For me at least.
