General / Off-Topic Greatest Space Movies of All-Time "Opinions"

The Blob...No that's just cos I like Steve Mqueen!

The thing from another world... Those guys and gals were so high when they made it they started all their lines before the other actors had finished their own lines...awesome!
It's really my favourite SciFi film (after 2001), it seems more real than the horror sequel!!!

Can't believe no one has mentioned Gravity yet, its a great movie and worth a watch.

Oh and Mars Attacks cause it has aliens using nukes as helium :)

Empire strikes back get's me every time !!! the later Star Wars movies are pretty much bland in comparison, with the exception of The Return Of The Jedi which is also mint.

May I add that my least favorite Space movie is the "Lost In Space" remake which was ghastly !

79 posts and no one mentioned Farscape?
Well, that's fixed now. :) With the new BSG it's my favourite TV show, I've watched the whole series three or four times now. It looks like the movie (and the comic book I guess) Guardians of the Galaxy were heavily inspired by Farscape.

Farscape, ranks up there with Star Trek. Far more unpredictable, and a phenomenal gripping & twisting story.

People need to see this, but be warned: You will forget to eat, drink, sleep because you want to know what happens next. It's that amazing.

Pandorum

Been some time since I watched any of these but if I remember them correctly, none of them is worth watching twice :D (Though, any space related movie is always worth watching at least once!)
But I do think Pandorum had a very nice concept, kind of chilling and horrible to wake up on a ship not knowing who you are, where your at or why your there.

Jodorowsky's Dune was a well-worth watching documentary about the greatest movie never made.
