I used VR Ultra as a base setting, then turned everything off to on and pushed all sliders not already maxed to the right... supersampling down to 1.0 and HMD quality up to 1.5... and regardless where you are - inside stations, on planetary surfaces, in crowded asteroid fields, the performance is butter smooth throughout, to quote the OP here. So far, i have only tested Elite Dangerous with it, but i am looking forward to try Robo Recall and Project CARS today... i did expect a lot, but not what i got. If you think about a new graphic card for VR, there is really only one choice. Coming from a GTX 970, the difference was absolutely stunning. I guess, when coming from a 1080 it will be just a few extra frames, but man... This card is worth every single cent.
