Guardian FSD Booster 2025

My technique for selecting a system for HGEs was to FSS the system and visit 1 or possibly 2 HGEs to fill my storage bins, if there was no HGE move on to another system.
I would do this within convenient range of a materials trader.

Possibly fixing something unintended in the first place or a fix for something else has an unintended effect. 🤷‍♂️

Haven’t been to Dav’s Hope in a while but Jameson’s was buffed considerably when they did the engineering rework last year so I doubt there have been any intentional changes, it produced 9-10 lots of data when I visited with my just released for Arx T8.

The thing is even when I started in 2016 you couldn’t trust guides and videos made or last edited before the latest update to the game.

Exactly.

I've read try populations over 1 million, which is a pretty large amount of systems! So, I guess just pick something and check, move on. Kinda like prospecting for gold, gotta look around first! BUT, it's got to be the right ground. No cobble and black sands, don't bother!

"Em Why" says he was at Dav's and Jamison recently and it's all good, so that works for me.

Yeah, not all tutorials are created equal. It's the sucky part of the search.

Mission Complete.

Guardian FSD Booster now installed. Range up to 46.6Ly.

Dav's Hope definitely producing Focus Crystals and other items. Even got some Refined Crystals. Do the route as many times as you need.

TIP...Don't go to Dav's Hope with cargo! I showed up with the 8 HN Shock Mounts and a pirate showed up. Dumped the mounts, no more pirate.

Jameson Crash Site also seems to be working.

Almost filled up Encoded but the recent connection issues temporarily put that on hold.

Followed this YT video...

Yeah, I had a dude in a Chief doing overwatch on my first time as I’d not known to put a PDC on. Not all players on Open gank!

I recall, when I first started exploring the Guardian sites, I spent a lot of time using the Camera Suite like a drone.
I'd just get hopelessly lost, switch to the camera suite, send it up above my SRV and move it around the site until I figured out where I was and where I needed to go.

Subsequently, I helped out a bunch of people by flying my Vulture at the sites, just hovering above stuff so people knew where to go next, exploding Sentinels and even charging the obelisks if the SRV driver needed help.

Doing the Guardian ruins, for whatever purpose, really is much easier as a co-op' activity.

Coming to this over a month late but just wanna say hi. Glad the video was handy in the end! HGE sites are super fast for manufactured stuff, the only reason I recommend combat material gathering is it's honestly not much slower for small-volume gathering and it's actually super fun. As I say, do what you like oc 🫡
Your tutorials are pretty dang great :) dig the style and how you cover topic by topic. Really good ratio of narration/explanation in voice and on-screen text

Thank you!

I tend to get a little grumpy at times with things I'm uncertain about. I like your work, it's the process overall that has been challenging.

In the end your information has been a big help. I just recently did some HGE gathering. Pretty simple, just takes some time, like with gathering Raw at the Anaconda site that I'm now back at to fill back up. I've been on an engineering spree as a result and have gone through quite a bit of materials, and now have to reload.

Since I started this little run, I now have two Mandalays mostly engineered. Unlocking engineers is a whole 'nother adventure!

Thanks again for your efforts!
