Did you mention the space dust? Even though its quite a poor implementation by FD, its invaluable when flying FA-OFF.

Also, since I dusted off the game again and started playing, the salvage missions(black box) make a good scooping training.

You only have around 20 sec to scoop until the first enemies show up. Then its suicidal at least in a SW

Do you have any recommendatons for controls? Do you use a stick, or KBM? I have been trying out with the good ol' KBM, but it is "challenging"... I realise practice will be entirely necessary, but I just wondered if I was making life more difficult for myself somehow!

The concepts of FA-off really appeal to me; one of the reasons I enjoyed Frontier when it came out was the Newtonian flight model, which I got to grips with just fine, so I am a bit annoyed with myself that it is eluding me here Maybe I am just impatient though
