Hi Michael good to see you back! I thought our forum had been put away in a dark cupboard with Elite 4 (one day I'll get you to give us a hint!;))
Happy New Year to you and all the guys at Frontier. Good to have an independent British software company still around, even though I'm a bit old for some of the current output. Did try Kinect hangliding over Xmas though. Do I need to have pulleys install in case Elite 4 has Kinect spacewalking?:smilie:

Yea, looks like Elite IV will take faaaaar longer than Duke Nukem Forever, huh?

I can understand the reasons why they won't bet on Elite IV much, but I still can't understand why don't they release updated versions of Elite and Frontier/FFE on smartphones.

This can't be too hard and could sparkle interest for Elite in the press again.

Personally, I am more sad about The Outsider though. It looked as if it was THE game that could put Frontier back in serious gaming business again, in opposite to Frontier, it looked as if it was a real game in development.

Wait, what! Elite: Dangerous? Funded by Clownfondling?

It's Elite IV! I'm so excited it's finally being made! I can experience the simple joys of landing on a planet and using the Stardreamer to watch the Sun rise and fall, drift amongst the clouds and view glorious new graphic type things!

Oh, we can't do that...

The space stuff must be real good though! Hopefully combat will be a well balanced mix between the original Elite and the sequels. It is Elite IV after all!

So this is a pseudo sequel to the original, it isn't Elite IV.

That's a shame. Should still be fun though, I guess. As long as DB hasn't unbalanced the game by giving people with lots of money from, for example, the UAE an advantage because daddy gave them a helping hand. Oh...

OK, at least Elite: Keep Danglingus has been released!

Alpha set to stun phase 3? What?

I really hope he does, as I've always thought Elite to be ideally suited to online play. Imagine thousands of players all dog fighting and trading across the universe. A worldwide ranking system, you could be the worlds best pilot!

What ideas have you guys got for online play?

Happy summer solstice!

I'm currently dancing naked around Stonehenge whilst typing this on my RaspBerry phone. Joy!

Oh, wait. This isn't Stonehenge, these are tower blocks! Where am I and where did I leave my clothes? Oh well, sure I'll be fine.

Any news On Elite IV? No, oh.

At least the Elite remake MUST be finished by now. What? It's still at the beta blocker stage! Makes sense I suppose, as many need to keep going, we're not immortal.

Who decided I was off Topic? I used to love Topics growing up, the hazelnuts were the kicker for me... one moment. Six polite young gentlemen have asked for my phone, not quite sure why one is holding a knife to my neck.
