Have NEVER seen another player on Elite Dangerous for Xbox One. Only NPC in OPEN play.

Have noticed one Cmd near the starting system, but I drifted away from there quickly enough. Somone did try to pirate me but I think they were as jumpy as me after a bit of chase he managed to type "just one" but then went directly to shooting. I didnt have any cargo and replied "have none" and proceded to lay a mine and boost/assist off till I could get charged to Sc. Was a great learning experience about power supply for thrusters and shields. Im at the edge of the colonized bubble now and nobody comes through my system as far as I know. I did bury myself in the far end of a binary for some stress free mining at one point.

I flew to Leesti last night and there was a few hanging around in that system, managed to have a couple of words through chat window with one pilot before I docked.

every time i try Open, it crashes when I begin a jump or exit supercruise. So I stay in Solo until they next build comes out to see if it gets better.

Eravate and the surrounding systems like Kremmain, have lots of players. I also hear the next big stopping grounds is Diso/Leesti. I was in Imperial space, and found two Imperial commanders in ANUM. (they both ignored me. :( First players I've seen since that ELEU public event.) Also saw a new ship type, the Imperial fighter. Looked like a droid fighter from Starwars, just white. Neato. Also that station has Imperial ships like the Courier and Clipper. I would suggest Diso though. That's where most mid-game people are.

I've run into at least half of the 17 people that play this game. Most don't answer a simple "hi" in chat.

I have to say I've seen a few but sadly said nothing when I tried to open comms then *BOOM* 'Interdiction', you always seem to run into the wrong people when you're hoping to meet someone who will be friendly. Its definitely one thing that's missing in this game is interaction. Being able to say "howdy" to someone just flying by or passing you in a space station would be awesome, you'd probably meet people who you talk to in here for instance. As it is at the minute there are to many people fearful of losing all their hard earned money to pirates and lets be honest, it is hard earned. I know people say "making money isn't a grind" but when you're flying routes every day it does become a grind. Having that taken away puts people off playing 'open' because there aren't enough friendly people playing on open.

I average 2-3 Cmdrs a day myself, even more if i get close to the starting systems i try to respond to the usual "hello" but more often then not i miss it right when im jumping systems. My home port is Aulin which sees occasional visitors if you see a Cmdr Anaconda there chances are its me.

I'm at a popular trade route and I see about 5-10. In eravate cluster you can always find some, and I here Lave cluster is busy too. I've also had the pleasure of seeing some people on the enemy side in combat zones. Sadly for them to didn't end up as much of a pleasure ;)

Don't get too peeved if they don't respond. Some players didn't notice your hail, some noticed it but have no clue how to answer, and in some ships the players have nipped out of their cockpits to make themselves a cuppa.

i'm playing since the release date, many hours every day, but i have encountered max 3-4 players, but this isn't a problem for me. space it's huge :D
